Hello everyone,​

As you have seen, quite a few changes have been made recently to the economy, henceforth I have decided to make a new Economist Changelog to keep better track of all changes. This will also ensure any changes are made known much faster. This will be separated into 2 parts:​

Superstein's reign

Dec. 28, 2012: Elysium open, trades in all towns
Jan. 31, 2013: Mercantia open, new trades every week
Feb. 25, 2013: superstein becomes Economist, trades fully refreshed in Carthage and in Port Ostia
Feb. 26, 2013: Trades refreshed in Roxbourgh and Palmyra
Feb. 27, 2013: Trades refreshed in Castra. Trades also added to Crucia. Congrats!
Feb. 28, 2013: Tweaking done, a few trades added
Mar. 2, 2013: Trade tweaking done, trades buffed
Mar. 3, 2013: Abusable trade patched, Snowfall item -> emerald trades buffed
Mar. 5, 2013: Tweak tweak!
Mar. 12, 2013: New sand-based stall at Palmyra

May 24, 2013: All NPC shops have been given official names.
May 25, 2013: Annoucement of the Black Market
May 27, 2013: Castra Trades---->Nerfed
June 6, 2013: Roxabourg Trades have been altered.
June 11, 2013: Ghast Tear Trades------>Altered
June 14, 2013: Roxabourg Trades have been altered+new emerald trade.

This will be updated regularly so keep an eye out.

Due to the ransacking of Castra, all trades there have been nerfed, this will last till such a time they are able to rebuild their economy.

In the News, Roxabourg has undergone a sudden shift in prices! Due to some poor steer sales this week the price of steak has risen, this has been followed by massive complaints by livestock dealers who claim that bad weather this month is to blame. The Roxabourg pub has launched the opening of a new drink, but health officials are concerned it may be bad for health. And the miner's guild have at last struck gold, not really they have found new sources of coal and redstone and prices for coal have dropped and you can now buy more redstone for your emerald.

Yesterday, Ghasts were declared an endangered species and were being protected by the on-the-spot newly formed group known as the NMPA (Nether Monster Protection Agency). Hours later a battle erupted as a small band of highly trained, highly armed adventurers confronted the agency headquarters and eliminated its leaders in outrage. The ban on killing Ghasts lasted a mere 4 hours but the damage to the economy was done at an especially crucial time when the witches of the swamp began the preparations to brew their powerful anti-aging potions, now vendors are desperate to get ahold of any tears they can find as the tear shortage has affected those far and wide. Carthage officials are investigating the incident at the NMPA HQ, but have no leads on who the band of adventurers were who deafeted them.
