A little mod help needed 'ere.

So, i'm trying to install minecraft mods. I have no experience with this. I'd view a youtube tutorial, but those people drone on for half the video saying what they are going to do instead of actually doing it.

I've installed the mod loader, but i have no idea what to do from here.

The mod i'm trying to install is called 'biosphere'.

The only thing i've acheived is blocking the youtube homepage, and i doubt that's even to do with this.

A little help, and don't send me any youtube videos that make me do this.

Get the Minecraft Magic Launcher at first, which you can do here

Get the .rar file for the mod called "Biosphere"

A .rar!

1. At the main screen, the screen where you can login you click "Setup"
2. Click "Add" and select the .rar for the Biosphere
3. Press "OK"

Done.

If you get anything else make sure you arrange the list correctly, mod loader must be above mods that you want to load with it, optifine must be at the bottom, arrange mods with the 'up' and 'down' buttons.

also, keep in mind that magic launcher still doesn't read some files as mods yet

Ah yes that also, it's being very derpy with some mods at the minute.

I think there's a website where you can download mod installers.

Yea, it's fairly good, it's only problem is that occasionally it wont work, and/or continually disconnects you from servers.
