Riot already released Policeman Blitz and Arcade Hecarim. We don't need more people playing Vayne because she has a new skin. (Aristrocrat Vayne can't even be beat anyways so)

Not being a laners bitch.
Its not your job to baby sit one lane so they can do good, you have 2 other lanes, 2 whole jungles and 2 major objectives to keep track of.
Plenty of important things to look at here. There are:
-Securing buffs/objectives and timing buffs/dragon/baron (if no one else is)
-predict and/or shutting down enemy jungle to relieve lane pressure
-Keeping lanes ahead and snowballing (But as choclate mentioned, its not your job to win your teammates lane for them, its more of a favor.)
-Assisting laner in shoving lane and pressuring their tower if, for example, mid is MIA roaming to bot.
-Keeping lanes warded if the laner isn't doing it (ESPECIALLY Mid lane)
-Having a strong communication and mentality to your team (you don't want to have a negative attitude as a jungler, drops your team's mental attitude)
-Most important, play a jungler who you're most comfortable with. It can affect your and your laner's gameplay if you were to play amumu, for example, and can't land a single bandage toss.
WHAT YOU SHOULDN'T DO (Assuming you're in silver - and soloQing):
-Tax lanes after an unsuccessful gank (you'll only piss them off and risk the laner of threatening to afk)

Eeeh, I don't see what's wrong with it. League is a team game, not a solo game. If a jungler fails the gank, then they lose exp and gold because they had to wait around to get ready to gank. I'd rather have the jungler take some cs out of my lane and be on par with levels, instead of falling behind because I'm too stingy about my gold.
