The reason Mundo and Blitz are banned in ARAM is not because they are OP or broken, it's because IN THAT SPECIFIC MAP OF HOWLING ABYSS they are stupidly unfair in their own rights.

Yes, Master Yi isn't broken in Summoner's Rift. Yes, Master Yi is pretty useless outside of cleanup crew in teamfights; what makes Master Yi strong is his ability to Chain Alpha-Strikes and deal a great amount of damage later in the game as well as his tremendous ability to catch up to opponents using said abilities, after a few items. Up until then, he's a melee squishy with no CC and little value outside of wave-clear. Being able to become strong is far easier and faster to do on Howling Abyss, where everybody is clumped up together and gold is generated at a higher rate.

If we truly want to settle whether or not Yi should be banned in ARAM, we should let him be played in a game; it doesn't matter WHO plays Yi, just that he gets play. We can form a consensus about whether or not he's worth banning afterwords. There's no point in continually arguing about his state of being banned in ARAMs

(I agree with you 100%. Almost every champion can be countered by the items you build or how you play. Mundo and blitz have very unique and specific functions, pull and have 80 health regen, whcih for Howling Abyss, it fundamentally breaks the game. Good post 10/10)

Golden, while I somewhat disagree to the degree at which Yi gains power at ARAM because the fact remains as you say: "a melee squishy with no CC" I think your solution is excellent, but rather than having just 1 game, maybe let him stay as an open pick for the next month/2 or 3 weeks and then we'll get a general consensus. Meanwhile, make smart choices when playing against him, don't throw just because you want to see him out!

There are custom games where people can all play the same champ in aram. I've done 5v5 Morganas. So fun. Its all over Reddit

only getting 4lp when you get to 70lp, thats bullshit, but its not so bad because I think the games got easier so you play more and win more and if you lose you only lose about 4lp too.
