When the classic TNT server was released, we, the community, was gifted with an original, amazing, and fun idea to call our own. It grew and developed as any good server does, and slowly rose to one of the most advanced experiences classic minecraft had to offer. Epectations soared high for it's port from classic to premium, and when TNT was released...those expectations were met. With a bustling and full server, TNT's future was bright.

Today, we come to with a decision, one that was not easy or good to make, but one that we felt was best. We will be removing TNT from our server lineup for the foreseeable future. On October 18th of this month, the server will be out of commission.

Now, for those with a good eye, I hope you singled out foreseeable. That's right, let me quell your fears and disappointment. We, the administrative team+SparklyMuffinz, have no plans to remove TNT Wars from our sever lineup forever. We plan on redefining the server, remaking it, and giving everyone something completely unique and special.

This version of TNT had high potential and room to expand. But with the cards dealt, it couldn't. TNT's dedicated developer, destroyer1x, has gone missing, and without him, TNT can not grow. Our search of a new dev for the server have been fruitless, and with the way the code is written now, any major server changes would be quite difficult and unreachable. Once we find a developer who can give TNT Wars the love it deserves, we will be rebuilding it from the ground up, to provide a better, cleaner, and fuller experience.

I say again, do not fret, this isn't the end. It's the beginning of something better.

I would list and personally thank every single person who aided in the development and making of premium TNT, but I would be spending far too much time on it. To every staff member, every player, anyone who supported TNT Wars: Thank you. It is my promise to you we're working hard on giving you the experience you deserve. And possibly the biggest thanks goes to SparklyMuffinz, who will be here for development of the future iteration of the server. Sparkly: Thank you for leading the server for around six months now, and for staying as one of the backbones of our community.

I understand if you feel disheartened by this, and if you want to talk about it, the Blocktopia administrative team provides excellent grief counseling! We will also be answering questions tonight at the meeting(6 PM EST[GMT -5])

With best regards and hopes for a brighter tomorrow,
The Administrative Team

I was so worried when I read the title, thank God it's only temporary. I actually think it's a very good reason to put the server on break, we need some devs. Just a question, what happens to the TNT Staff? While the server's closed will they be furloughed?
They are welcome to work on creating a new version of TNT(As per sparkly's approval), and can have their ranks back when the new version is released(again, as per Sparkly's approval). Until then: Yes, furloughed.

First server to die in Fourth Era.... Or rather just cryonically preserved (Deep freeze), hopefully to be revived later in future.

Frozen TNT Spirit.

Other servers spirits (Cat-looking creatures, I'm not THAT creative to build something more sophisticated :p).
JtE, RoF, BB and AoD from left to right for comparison.
