Hello everyone,

as you might have noticed, we updated the forums.

As you also might have noticed, a lot of things look like crap now.

And some might not work anymore.

So basically, we ruined most of the things.

The plan was good. The execution...lacking.

So, please, give us a few days to get everything in order again!

Thank you!

I don't think it's too bad - I think the new editor that's bundled with it looks pretty good. The link colour probably should be changed back IMO (with Home > Forums > Community blah blah...). And now you've upgraded the forum, can we PLEASE UPGRADE THE WIKI. ;-)

(EDIT: I probably can do it. xD But seriously, I am a system administrator for a wiki or 7.)

I especially like how it says "Last edited: ... ago". This new version is full of great features! It'd be even more amazing to have an edit reason and the ability to look at all older versions of a post (similiar to wikis) :eek:

Awwwyea thinks to himself, "Man, if only there was a sarcastic 'Nice Going.' rating solely for this post."

The only real difference I noticed at all was the reply box, but since I fail to remember what the old one looked like, don't really matter. I suggest that if we can help Kakeman fix anything in specific, we should point out what it is here because a list is always nice.
Yes! That last sentence gives me an excuse to complain about;

How much that random blue bar at the bottom of the screen always bothered me. It cuts through the background and just eugh.

The update was 99% backend stuff to a newer version. Problem is, that these big updates break all templates and settings, so it always takes a while to make it pretty again.

So baiscally you're correct, there aren't real big new differences, just many new tweaks.
