So I've started to watch (and read) the D. Gray Man manga/anime...

I really would like to know what the name "D. Gray Man" stands for seeing as so far, it has no meaning in terms of the story. (Like how in Fullmetal Alchemist, "Fullmetal" is Edwards name, or in Code Geass, Geass is the mystical power...) Even if there is no real meaning behind it, I would be fine with that.

The art design and story just feels... reminiscent of other manga to me for some reason. I guess on the topic of Fullmetal Alchemist, the art design of the protagonist, Allen Walker, really sort of reminds me of Edward (though in the anime his hair is White... I originally imagined it as blonde in the manga for some reason). I do find the art quite interesting, especially that of the Akuma and the Millenium Earl (oooo what a good character for cosplay), and I'm sure as I move into the story a bit more, the character's will be expanded more.

Overall I fairly like the story; it's decent, though nothing has really "stood out" yet.
