@deathdoom13 and I were talking one night and the idea of Feed The Beast Lava survival came to mind. Now if you are unfamilar with Feed The Beast, It is a mod pack that adds machineary, rockets, armor suits and a whole lot of other things (Link here:http://www.feed-the-beast.com/)
Now how it works is Similar to ROF but instead maps are larger to allow more minerals and resorces to spawn. Now for Machineary useage and Magic Tables it comes down to putting those in the lobby if nessacary to save the players a ton of work to use just a machine. Ranks will be increased to about 1-20 ranks. Hard to find minerals will be allowed to be bought for a fair price. Ares Magica setups will be placed in lobby along with everything else. But what really makes this fun is not the mods but the Maps with a whole almost (this is a estimate) 4000 new blocks?(@Harold1995 will enjoy that I bet!) Will really make maps seem more lively and see what resorce is easyiest to obtain and also try to elimate the over usage for Cobblestone on calm.
I would love feedback but this is NOT a full concept because there are obviously some flaws and things I left out.
Thank you

Just saying, there's a 99.9% this isn't gonna happen, since I'm pretty sure they don't allow modded servers, just plugin based ones, and especially not 3rd party mods. If anything, sorry no one tried to answer you in any way and just disliked your posts.
We've run a few Tekkit servers before, but they were too unpopular to maintain properly, unfortunately.

This is acctually a pretty cool idea! But indeed not sure how many people will play it and start up the FTB launcher
or how many are acctually capable of playing due to low end computers ;c Still cool idea tho! :3

There are a few issues if this idea actually happened (It probably won't)

- People don't even know what most of the mods are.
- People have bad computers, so things will be a lot laggier. (Epically the lobby)
- The amount of blocks to add on the calm/annoyed/angry list would be too time consuming
- Modpacks usually have several flaws in them, meaning that they have to update very often.
- Increase chance of frequent server crashes
- The server would have to run of MCPC+. Which is terribly buggy. (Personal experience)
- The maps would be too small to hold that amount of blocks, the map size would have to increase and that means more longer rounds and more lag.
- A lot of blocks would be going on the blacklist.
- If the client settings don't match the server settings, the players won't be able to join.

You can run a WHITELISTED FTB server and have players apply for them in the forums, The thing about whitelisted servers is generally that you need less staff to maintain it. From recent experiences the FTB server would probably have ~5 people at a time. This means you might need to host it 10-slot and maybe ban world anchors so that the server can be maintained properly, smoothly and without problems at the cost of ~€10,- extra per month. Tough i dont see RoF mix in with FTB, i think Blocktopia could host a small FTB server, if we just do it efficiently and the right way.
