In other news. I found a river and can peacefully live through the nights :D

I finally set up a safe and well established home base. vov I like it a lot!

It's lonely though. It's been ages since I last saw a person.

I ran into a brick hut but it was a safe house by chests that had stuff.

I made a radio tower (and fell off it, surviving with half a heart- oops!) but I couldn't get a signal within the 650 meter range. I guess it is pretty empty here.

Edit: I now realize that it's the radios range that determines how far it can send, not receive. I did pick up a dubious signal from a couple thousand blocks away: "Come here if you dare!" I will have to investigate sometime. owo

I officialy have a home that is self sustainable now yay me.

I'm pretty proud of my home now. It's cool and secure and pretty. Come visit sometime!

Now that I'm thriving I'm not sure what else to do. The surrounding neighborhood has been looted clean so I guess I'll explore and find new places!

Ugh, I feel your pain. Some cities have a Storage Shed around every corner, while some have none.
(Meanwhile, others have a bunch of ones that seem griefed)

But you're not alone - I trekked over to your location, left some goodies and switched your radio off so they'd be safe. While I was heading back, your radio started broadcasting again!

Someone is well aware of your location, I figured you must be living with someone until I saw your post here...

All these bases being set up and radios will probably make me gain get interest again, was bored of not finding people :l

@GmK, would it be possible to make compasses send out weak signals that can detect other players at a short range who also have one; or perhaps tune to another player's compass so to keep in touch. The first one especially might be good for finding people, if it has a small range of, say, 50 blocks.

Unfortunately not We don't have the plugin source.

I was digging a hole down, a creeper fell in. It blew up leaving me with one heart and the explosion blew me up in the air. When gravity came into effect pulling me back to the earth I fell down the tunnel that I was blown up and hit the floor.
