The Guardian of Hope, Life, Corruption, Magic and Light
The Guardian of Hope raised his chin at the purple eyed boy. Did Life actually want anything to do with them yet or would she even feel comfortable around them? He didn't want to give anything away about her or direct too much attention to her until she was comfortable with everyone. The white tailed girl showed immense silence to everyone until they gained her trust. The boyish man answered, "Sorry, only best we could suggest is wait it out."
I'm slightly disappointed by the answer, since I am rather sure that the little girl is Life and can probably heal me, but I sense that she's somewhat scared and that the man who answered me is a little protective, so I don't push it. "Fine, although it may take a good bit. Did you have any questions, I think you asked me if I knew what was going on here?" I ask them, turning my head to the hooded girl.
He comes walking the others' way "Hey! Guys! We found something"
Cyra decided to not use sarcasm. “Seeing that you were present when the tornado striked and you’ve been in this area longer than us-“ She gestured to the Guardian of Life, Light, and the boyish man. “-do you know what’s going on here?”
"Down the bottom of the hole" he says. Completely interrupting the others
Cyra turned to the Guardian of Light. “Can you wait?” She asked. “If we do want to investigate, we should ask others, and that goes /after/ finding out what’s going on currently.”
"What do you mean what's going on? Still busy with asking why we're here? And no. I can not wait. There's a person possibly freezing dead as we speak."
“Pretty sure, it has been there since we arrived, seeing that there was a lake above it. That means it has either been dead a long time. Or it can last a long time"
"You do not know when that time ends. Do you?"
I turn my head over to the other boy who managed to interrupt us and throw him an annoyed look, before looking at the hooded girl again. "Hm. So, wait, you've no idea, absolutely no clue as to what's going on?" That's unusual. The Guardians should at least have some clue as to what their purpose is, even if they can't remember their past.
“I didn’t say I don’t know what’s going on. I just asked what’s happening on this side of the crater.” Cyra replied, a bit annoyed.
"No, unfortunately both of these two have majorly lost a high amount of information relevant to this new world," he replied."
"Ah. Well, I guess I could give you some insight as to what's been going on on this side. Or in general, if you need it. I woke up a little farther from the crater, spotted the crater, which was, at that point, filled with water and walked over to it, since I wanted to know what I look like in this world."
I watch the conversation silently, assessing the purple-eyed boy that must be injured in some way. I shift uncomfortably in the presence of an argumentative, heated conversation and instead listen to the purple-eyed boy in wonder.
“Do you know any aspects of the Guardians here?”
The black haired man raised his eyes in surprise. He forgot again, each Guardian here has corporeal bodies. They did not have to possess a living being to gain more access to the physical realm. He eyes furrowed in confusion as he wondered how this was possible
"This girl here-" I point to the flying girl beside me, who has stayed quiet for the whole conversation, "was flying over the crater and saw something in the bottom, like a bubble or something. Me being curious, I dove in to find out. And yes, I do believe I know a couple of Guardians' aspects. The one next to me is probably either Sky, Wind or Flight, I also saw Fire and Water, and I myself am Magic."
“Magic? How does that work” Cyra asked, curious.
He throws his hands up "Well christ. Let's just let him die then"
“Well, /maybe/, if we hear the Guardian of Magic’s answer, he can help us with your investigation!” Cyra exclaimed.
He sighs "It's not an investigation. It's just trying to help someone" he says annoyed.
The Guardian of Hope didn't see how saving whoever in the center of the crater was relevant or important. In fact, it was too early for anyone to even die. Possibly, but he wasn't sure about that. The hooded girl's sense of ease was much more important right now than saving someone who was possibly hurt. "The problem is no one here can help until we know what we can actually do," he neutrally said.
"Anyhow, when I was starting to get close to the bubble in the bottom of the lake, a bloody tornado flew me like a hundred feet up in the air and I think I hit my head pretty hard when landing. And now here I am." The hooded girl asks me something about my own aspect. "Magic? Well, I control and watch over the magic force of the world. It's what makes spells possible, your own spells as well, not just mine. Magic is, in theory, without limits, but there's always a chance of something going wrong. Still, you can accomplish things with magic, things you cannot do with normal means."
He ignores what the hooded girl said due to what the boyish man says and just watches the conversation go by instead.
He shuffled the ground a bit. "Does this mean this world was created with magic? If so will it have a continued impact in the future?" he asked.
"No, the world was created without magic, but most worlds receive an amount of magic sooner or later. It makes some things possible. Consider the laws of physics. Magic allows to bypass some of them in some cases, for example. So, yes, I believe it will have some impact in the future, although that's more up to the beings that will inhabit this planet."
"Is that how we're here? Is that how our memories are so altered also?" This purple eyed man seemed to know so much. Possibly more than him. He understood the Guardians and what their aspects had to do but not where the information came from. Did this man know?
“I don’t think the Guardian of Magic is in-charge of all that. That would be too much power for one Guardian."
"Maybe. I don't know. I typically keep all my memories when I enter a new world, but something in this world, or something outside it, is influencing us. The girl next to me has no clue as to who we are or what we should do, and not only is that unusual, it's bad."
He felt sorry for everyone here. It seemed that this man and him were the only ones who retained a higher amount of memories over one another, but this man said all. "Wait all of them? So what happened in the previous world?" He thought of his dream of standing within flames as angry figured circled around him. Considering the thought of that was once real.
“There’s also the possibility that a Guardian is pretending to forget the Guardian’s memories.”
When Cyra mentioned that he quickly looked the other way.
"Why would they do that?" he turned to the hooded girl.
"I-I don't really see much reason to hide anything" he says crossing his arms.
“Perhaps the Guardian has another purpose or decided that the Guardian will gain more benefits from hiding."
A sudden surge of head ache finds me again, and this time, it proves too much. I feel a cold chill and see some light blue before passing out.
He was about to reply but the purple eyed man suddenly fell to the ground. Everyone tensed up around him. Hope walked over quickly to look down at the Guardian of Magic. Just as they were about to get answers the man's body fails him. The boyish man thought it was too strange. He looked up at the man's companion, "What happened to him?" he asked panicked.
