Ross seems genuinely surprised by Himinn's question. "What do you mean 'why did I leave'? I've been here the whole time." He stares blankly at Himinn, hoping she'll drop the subject so he can slip away. I need to find what that spell was.

The Guardian of Hope​

He ran the strings holding his jacket together through his fingers. This man, Death, seemed perfectly fine to him. Hope was remorseful because he was going to have to go against the black robed man in order to avoid having the others get caught up with everyone else. Why he was thinking more about avoiding other Guardians rather than before is because Life would be in danger with the fighting going on. Hope found it a bit of a setback with fighting already beginning. The most important thing would to make sure Life wouldn't have anything serious happen to her as they went along the way. He took a few steps back to the cave entrance, "I think the way out was this way. If we're pressed on following the others let's get going."

Ross can see the pain on her face and gives her an apologetic look, making sure she sees it before he fades away into the shadows again. I'm sorry, but I must find that spell.

Ross walks for a few minutes, still warm from the red girl's energy. I don't know where I'm going. Or why. Or what will be there...I hope Himinn doesn't hold this against me...

After a few more minutes, Ross comes across a figure laying on the ground. It is familiar to him...and as he passes by, he recognizes it as Catco. Hmm...the Phoenix seems to have gotten on the wrong side of a soul shattering spell...How unfortunate. Nothing I can do for that. I mustn't waste time finding that spell. Ross walks past the unconscious Phoenix without so much as slowing down.

Could this be a viable thing? Perhaps the Guardian of Aether could be recovering from curing what's her face))

((Even if I decided that frost [[Not specifically ice]] was a passable opposite to sky or air, I'm still not a guardian and therefore, I would not be able to counter balance a guardian's magic taint, primarily because phoenix magic has the law of equivalent exchange instead of magic taint [[meaning that phoenixes are unable to suffer magic taint, but they can never create something out of nothing, or nothing out of something]].))
