This thread's purpose is to let us mention and talk about any sort of connections linking games, shows, movies, or books to other games, shows, movies, or books.
Our first connection is how Nintendo likely took Fullmetal Alchemist for inspiration when making "The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks".
Evidence:
-After Zelda is attacked by chancellor Cole, she kind of becomes obsessed with getting her body back.
-When Zelda possesses a phantom in the Tower of Spirits, she closely resembles the suit of armor Alphonse was bound to, though not entirely alike to said suit of armor.
-Like Edward and Alphonse, Link's main method of transportation is by train.
-Although an Easter Egg, Link can annoy Zelda when she is a phantom, potentially causing her to chase after and attack Link in retaliation. In FMA, you do get to see Alphonse Punch Edward in the face a few times...

So, what do you guys think about this?
