Before you read any of this, none of this is meant to offend anyone in any particular way.
So yep. If you had to NOT be one, would you choose mute, deaf, or blind? And for what reason? ( The worst out of the three )
So, I would choose blind because I can't see the ones I care about and love, and the ones that care about ME, and it would make me depressed.
Post awayyyyyy!

There's no easy to make up for that. If you're mute or deaf you can still interact with people using sign languages. I know it's do-able since I've known a few blind people, but when I think of missing out on all that my eyes take in every day there's no contest.

(I'm practically mute as it is anyway. Face to face I'm one of the shyest people you'll ever meet.)

Wait, so, are you asking which we'd prefer to be over the others, or are you asking which we'd prefer to not be if we had to be the other two?

I'm guess the latter, so... I'd choose to being not blind.

I'm perfectly fine with being a mute, considering I despise talking, anyway. I'll get better at typing. :p

I'm actually not too happy with losing my hearing, as I really enjoy listening to music.

And I could never give up my sight, as I could never play video games if I were blind. ;)

Edit: And just in case you meant otherwise...

I would choose to be mute.

Not having the ability to talk is a-okay for me. Especially if I'd be able to keep my hearing and my sight at the cost of it. <3

Blind.

I never have much worthwhile to say anyways and I talk mostly online so I don't really have much purpose for my mouth but I would rather keep my hearing and my sight.

My sight to see everything and my hearing to hear everything though I wouldn't mind losing my hearing too just to fuck with people who try to get my attention all the time for no reason.

I'm surprised how many people would choose to be mute. It's the easiest of the three to work around, but at least for me, not being able to speak is a terrifying thought.

However, that's the middle choice. If I had to choose one to not be, it's blind. I'd rather be dead that not being able to see. Future would just seem so hopeless.

And what's the point in talking if you're deaf?
Why wouldn't they want to speak if they're deaf? It's easier than writing things down/hoping the other person knows sign language.

If you're deaf from the get-go, it's not like you'll really learn a language unless you can read lips. You won't be able to hear the sounds of the language and you won't be able to reproduce those sounds. Essentially, being deaf would stop you from learning any language, and you won't be able to communicate with others, due to you not knowing languages.

Blindness - Choosing not to be blind will let you see whatever it is you want, but you won't be able to communicate in any way shape or form, unless you learn sign language and/or reading lips.

Deafness - You'll be able to learn sign language, but you won't be able to effectively communicate with anyone else considering they would have to move your hands for you or some shit. Plus Braille is a bitch to learn.

Mute - Why the fuck would you want to talk if you can't hear shit.

If I had to choose any, I'd have to go for not being blind, if only because it's the least inconvenient.

Also you wouldn't be able to hear your own voice when you speak. So that makes everything a lot harder and it just feels like you'rem ocking your own deafness.
Obviously dependent if you were born without it or lost it. If the first, I'd still personally attempt to learn to speak, if possible. I can't say I know how easy/difficult it is to learn a language if you were born deaf, though.

Blind, as others have said you can still use sign language to communicate with others and to add to that you can also still communicate online with things like Facebook/Twitter.

If I were blind I would be able to hear the world turn but I wouldn't actually be able to see it. I'd much rather see the world move and watch friends/family age throughout all the years and able to see any future children that might come in my lifetime.

I just see this as a simple question to be honest because I can relate to Damer's last sentence quite well. I don't speak a lot in real life and I hardly ever swear too.

I truly can't imagine babies that are born blind and deaf. That seriously puts a terrible feeling in the pit of my stomach.

Deaf

As it is, there are hundreds of ways to communicate without verbal or visual ability (wouldn't be far fetched to have one of those things can speaks your thoughts, would it?) and there are many times were I try to challenge myself to find my way around in low/no visibility environments.

Yeah, plus I kind of like being able to hear things no one else can.

Then again, imagine the terror of not being able to smell things... I kind of have heightened senses in comparison to the average human...

I don't know if this is genetic, but even pain is amplified slightly for me.
Sorry about blurting out 80% of the information in regards to my physical sensory...

[Edit Creature...?]: Almost forgot... did any of you know that sound has very interesting effects on physical objects?

I would choose blindness for my worst one because I cannot see hot women, which would be torture to me because I can't see boobs. Jokes aside, the reason why I would choose blindness is because I cannot see the beauty of this world. Also there is ways to rectify being deaf or mute however there is not any technology to solve blindness.

Also I have been mute for 4 years so I know how it feels like being mute, it always used to be more positive for me because I could think more without talking.
