You know when you say something that's really derp or offensive without meaning to and someone calls you on it? Well that happens, there's nothing you can really do but make a new post...and making a one line post just to apologize doesn't really seem like a good option.

I'm worried that of any rating we have or will have, this could potentially be used so sarcastically that it becomes rude

Well we still have the optimistic rating....and from what I've seen, that appears to be it's main use :c

Why the rating is totally needed, dude: There can be a lot of posts that just aren't mean enough to be 'disliked', but 'oh no' doesn't work for it. I feel like we need a middle ground rating.
