General in-game rules
Rule 1: Do not block any lava timers.
Rule 2: Do not grief or flood other players’ buildings.
Rule 3: Act respectful/mature and do not swear excessively
Rule 4: Do not abuse bugs.
Rule 5: Do not spam chat or advertise.
Rule 6: Using mods that make gameplay unfair will lead to a ban.
Rule 7: Do not build spawnhouses
Rule 8: Entering houses without permission is not allowed
Rule 10: Spawn-camping the spawn of King of the Ladder isn't allowed
Rule 11: Don't sit on pressure plates at spawn points
Other rules
Rule 12: Global rules apply.
Rule 1: Do not block any lava timers.
- Fairly simple rule, make sure that lava can flood the map.
- You are allowed to dam the timers as long as it is at least 10 blocks away.
Rule 2: Do not grief or flood other players’ buildings.
- Removing any blocks to a house without the owners permission is considered griefing.
- This includes removing blocks to enter without permission, or removing blocks then asking to enter.
- Placing blocks within a house without permission is also not allowed.
- Luring creepers to a house to blow it up is also considered griefing
Rule 3: Act respectful/mature and do not swear excessively
- Be respectful to the staff and players.
- Be mature. Simple as that.
- Swearing is allowed, but it’s not allowed to direct it at someone.
- Example: ‘I f****** hate you, d***head’ This is not allowed
Rule 4: Do not abuse bugs.
- If there is a flaw on the server (lava timers not working, large natural house that’s easy to get to/make, etc.), do not continue to use it.
- If you do happen to find a bug, report it to either the Developer (SirComputer), a RoF member of staff, or the Controller (Refrigerated)
Rule 5: Do not spam chat or advertise.
- Do not repeatedly say something in chat.
- If you say something, but it is not noticed then you may say it again.
- Do not advertise other servers outside of blocktopia.
Rule 6: Using mods that make gameplay unfair will lead to a ban.
- Basically what it says, any mods put onto your minecraft and used will result in you being banned.
- This includes (but is not limited to) X-ray, flying and speed mods.
- Optifine is allowed.
- If you’re not sure whether a mod is allowed or not, ask one of our friendly staff.
Rule 7: Do not build spawnhouses
- A spawnhouse that is built before the spawn of the map has flooded is not allowed.
- A house near to spawn that is built with the intention of becoming a spawnhouse is not allowed.
- Building within 5 blocks of spawn is considered making a spawnhouse, or having the intentions to be one.
- Once the spawn has flooded and there is no way out, you may then make a spawnhouse.
Rule 8: Entering houses without permission is not allowed
- Don’t just join someone’s house.
- If they have stated in chat that anyone may join, you may join.
- If there is an open way to get in, but you don’t have permission, do not just walk in.
- If you’re not sure if it’s a public house or not, ask. There’s no harm in asking.
- If you wish to speak to a friend in a language or dialect other then english, the use of /msg or @<username> is available
Rule 10: Spawn-camping the spawn of King of the Ladder isn't allowed
- Don't sit right outside one of the spawn points of KotL
Rule 11: Don't sit on pressure plates at spawn points
- These pressure plates are there to stop people entering them - don't ruin their purpose

Rule 12: Global rules apply.
- The rules that apply to the whole community apply ingame.
