General

Due to recent events, our meeting was held on our IRC channel. Fear not, everything will be resolved as soon as possible. In the words of Bob Marley, no woman, no cry.

There was a supposed leak about the name of the new SMP, however the leaked information was invalid. Currently, the new SMP server has no decided name. We apologise for any confusion this has caused. We will keep you updated on any updates related to the new SMP server.

We are also taking a leaf out of the book of Biblius and having a staff meeting later!

I discussed it briefly at the meeting itself, but didn't put it in the recap - We're (Malc, who is helping me with bug fixes, and me) likely going to hold off until after the Bukkit fiasco is worked out to update and major bug fix, instead of (worst-case scenario) having to redo those updates again once things settle down.

We do, what it does though is take the dedi into an offline mode until the attack subsides, to protect the network and stuff. We don't have automatic fallback IPs though, too costly.
