"Light..." She stirs ever-so-slightly, feeling his touch on her forehead. Her eyelids move, but still she sleeps. Her right hand slips from her chest, her arm dangling straight towards the ground, and her fingers curl. It seems almost as though she's holding someone else's hand, though there's nothing solid there for her to grasp.
"Light..." She mumbles again, "Love you..."

"I'm sorry," she says, "Did I worry you?"
She can't help but notice, though, that Light looks different somehow, not just because he's been healed.
"Did she already heal you..?"

He looks her in the eyes. 'Heal? Wha-' then it came to him: The other 'Light' has been burnt largely, including his eye "..." He doesn't say anything yet. Then, he shifts his weight from one side to another and he says "No..."

"Apparently, two or three years prior I had done something that caused me a magic taint of sorts. Which caused me to become murderous from time to time..." he shifts from one leg to another as he grimaces at the several times he's tried to kill Alouette...

"One day I got fed up too much with this shit. I wanted to look for a way to get rid of the taint. I asked Alouette to bring me a book from the library one day when she went shopping... After a long read I found something to transfer my mind into another body, which should have left the backlash in this one but..." he points towards the other Light "That one's still-" suddenly tears start welling up in his eyes "I-I just wanted Alouette to be happy... And I even failed doing just that."
