Endal observed the short conversation between Death and the pair of people who apparently had come there to get him with a mild smirk on his face. It seemed the winged man's name was Airis and the girl with him was called Alouette, and the situation Endal found himself in with these two was starting to look rather amusing. When the laconic - yet somehow cliché-ridden on Airis's part - exchange of words came to an end, Endal couldn't help but look the two in front of him in the eye, with a playful smile in his own.
He examined them for a moment, before asking: "So, how exactly did you two get here?"

"We will." She smiles, reassured by Death's words. Then, looking at Endal, she answers, "Death created a portal for us, and we came through... That's all, really."
Her feet growing sore from standing still, she shifts position- but the torn cloth at her waist shifts as well, brushing the ragged wound, and she stiffens, sucking in a sharp breath. Letting it out slowly, she acts as if nothing happened.
"Where should we go?"

((Ah, so you finished reading. Didn't realize you were actually reading through the entire thread until the second rating you gave me.
And yes, it's indeed still open :) Just don't take Guardian of Magic, it would make Airis and Alouette's efforts moot.))

"Okay, Death did warned us before coming that it was going to be easy to get here, the hard part was going to get out. He never said it was impossible though. We'll be fine if we stick together and work as a team. Plus, we might have the upper hand with Endal by our side. Since you know, he's dead already. So he might be a big help when it comes to facing creatures. That's IF we cross path with one of those demons again."
*Airis then looks at Alouette*
"Hmm. Not really sure where we can start looking at."
*He then turn to see Endal*
"Endal, maybe you know this place a little bit more than us? Any advice where we can start looking at?

As the duo discussed different possibilities as to how to get out, Endal stayed quiet, but the playful smile never left his face. When Airis and Alouette finished, he started giggling for a brief second, before forcing himself to remain quiet. Alouette looked at him with a puzzled expression.
"I'm sorry," Endal apologised for giggling, "but do you seriously mean to tell me that not only did you not think about getting back from the Underworld at all when going in, but the thought of going back the way you came in never occured to you?" He bursted out laughing once more after seeing the completely blank expressions on both of their faces.

She's growing pale, though it's unnoticeable due to the lack of light. It's a struggle to hide her pain, now, and she's not sure how long she can keep up; but still she perseveres, just to keep Airis from worrying.
How long she can last, though, is another matter...
