Endal watched as Airis turned the doorknob and gave it a push, forcing the door open.
It was pretty much what he expected from the ship doctor's office. A desk, examination table, some cabinets, drawers and shelves. On the shelves were some books, as well as basic medicine and first aid equipment and supplies. Oh, and a skeleton in the chair behind the desk as well, smiling a crooked grin, with a coat on him that used to be white long, long ago and an otoscope hanging from a hole in the side of it's skull.
Endal glanced over the room, pointing the shelf with first aid supplies out to Airis and then went to examine the skeleton, presumably that of the long perished ship doctor. First thing he did was poke a finger through the skeleton's left eye socket.
Airis had finished collecting supplies a minute ago and, despite wanting to patch Alouette up as quickly as possible, he couldn't help but watch Endal play around with the skeleton. The ghost tried to move the doctor's jaw to go along with the peculiar laugh, but remembered that it was impossible for him to interact with anything physical. He still found ways to entertain himself, one of them being looking through the otoscope that was too deep in the skull to have been the result of it being in the dead man's ear at the moment of dying. Or perhaps it had been in his ear, just a little bit more than entirely necessary.
After watching this farce for a moment too long, Airis threw Endal a look that very clearly said that the ghost was probably the silliest being he'd encountered and then knelt down and started giving the girl with them the medical attention she needed.
