Alouette nods as she stands, pretending she's alright even as her legs shake and her vision blurs. "It's a problem with magic taint..." She shakes her head, smiling slightly. "But he's right, after that, we'll help you find her."
There's something about his concern that's familiar, and she thinks she knows precisely what he's feeling.
Smiling again, she says, "We'd better start walking, if we want to get this over with. Which way do you think..?"
Eyelids fluttering, fingers twisting in her skirt, she takes a deep breath. "Let's go."

Guardians of Corruption and Chaos

Cairne notices Cyra gazing intently at Remillia's comatose body.
"Did you two know each other?"

"I've seen her around, why do you ask?"

"Just the way you were...staring at her."

Cyra squinted. "Are you suggesting something?"

Cairne raises an eyebrow suggestively.

She frowned. "What is it?"

"Oh, nothing important. You know, when I found her, she was napping in the middle of some sort of crater?"

"I do know that. We passed the crater earlier. Why were you at the crater anyways?"

"Just passing by."
"You saw an unconsious little girl lying in a hole and didn't stop to help?"

"She looked dead." Cyra replied curtly.

Cairne could see this back-and-forth questioning going nowhere fast, and changed the subject.
"Didn't know you lived with Liro. Roommates, or something else?"
Cairne has a small half-smile on one side of his face as he says this.

"For your information, Liro literally just built this house right before you came in."
"Why, are you jealous?" Cyra grinned.

"Do you want me to be?" Cairne said with a smirk.

"Don't you have your own opinion?" She continued grinning.

Cairne simply smiles a bit wider in response.

Cyra smiled back. Liro must think they're crazy. Both of them lunatics, smiling creepily at each other.
It's experiment time, and so he loops his arms around her neck loosely and leans close.

"Steal my heart then, Ms. Fancy Blueblood."

((I guess I'll tie up Death's .. uh.. death))
Guardian of Life
Zwn gasps, gaping at the vast expanse of dirt with a pained expression on her face. She groans, clutching her sides and bringing her legs to her chest. She balls her hair in her hands and pulls, curling up further. A large, aching pain began in her chest. This is the feeling I get when someone dies she thought, clawing at her eyes, but much, much worse. I think I know what this means.

--Transition to what happens to death--

A powerful gust of wind blows, drowning out the shout of surprise that utters from the mouth of the dark boy. A cold shiver surrounds the people nearby and soft noises that sounded like the whispers of the dead fill the air. Something like that lasting a long time could drive someone insane. The whispers of the dead beckoned, though no words seemed to form. The boy, dark and hooded, formed the words 'Traitor!' but no sound escaped his lips which were rapidly paling and turning a ghoulish blue. His skin turned grey and he begun to wither, his body shrinking to skin just barely stretched across bone and his eyes sunk in, becoming like two deep black holes before he vanished, turning to dust and blowing away on the wind. With a clatter, his scythe dropped to the ground and the howling of the dead vanished - sucked back into the world of the dead. This all happened within a matter of moments.

((Is this okay for Death's.. death? :pP ))

Sitting on a stone couch he watched the two. He laughed out loud at Cairne's attempt. "A real charmer aren't you, Mr. Order?" He left his sword lying on the couch. "Take it if you want Cyra." He looked around at his creation. They were sitting in the living room it was mostly empty with a few couches around and a table in the middle. He stood up and walked through a empty door frame to an empty room. This room was considerably smaller and completely empty. He wasn't sure what to do with it yet. He walked down downwards through another empty door frame and found himself in his bedroom. Complete with a stone bed that would probably be really uncomfortable to sleep on and a table and chair against the wall. On the table was a stone tablet with a layout of the house. He drew a question mark in the middle of the empty room. Also on the map was a room to the left of the bedroom with the word "SECRET" hugely carved in the middle. Liro scratched his head and sat down on the chair thinking about what to do next.

Cyra ducked under his arm.
"Are you really that desperate, Guardian of Order?"
The two were in an awkward position, with the slightly blushing Cyra still holding his face.
Cairne, not sure how to react, notices Liro leaving the room. Deadeyeing her, he gently takes the girl's hands off of his face and follows after him, leaving Cyra alone with the ghost girl.

((so is everyone immortal now or what?))

((would be kind of derped out if it was like in Pratchett's Reaper Man))
((This is one of those things where basically, you can still die, but you don't go into the scythe anymore because it's dormant and the natural things that happen in death happen to you now... until someone replaces death
(though honestly, I was hoping to see what would happen if Catcocomics accidentally came into contact with death; for what would happen to something already "dead"?)))

((as far as I'm concerned, he simply dissipated into the wind as usual, albeit in a dramatic manner))
((Perhaps, I was thinking more when the scythe sucked the souls of the dead back in, it sucked in his soul too. What flew away on the wind was his body dissipating. Also, notice the word 'traitor' he tried to utter- maybe suggesting his aspect betrayed him? Who knows. Hey! I have an idea.. Maybe the aspect of death can kill the host if they get bored with them, I mean, Death was basically doing nothing the whole roleplay and just vanishing every 5 seconds so maybe his aspect got fed up with his cowardice and killed him?))
((I think Life'll probably have to pick up the scythe and take care of his job too, poor baby ;-; ))
((Oh, maybe, I didn't really think about what would happen after he died and where the dead would go.. ))
((This is one of those things where basically, you can still die, but you don't go into the scythe anymore because it's dormant and the natural things that happen in death happen to you now... until someone replaces death
((Well, no, it was only the person's soul that went into the scythe and the only reason the soul was allowed the leave the body is because Death used his scythe. I feel as though what would happen without someone controlling the scythe is that the person in question would be trapped inside their dead body or wouldn't be able to move their body because of the pre-death agonizing pain and dropping feeling. ))

((Cyra isn't blushing. Also, anatomy doesn't allow her to still hold Cairne's face after ducking under his arm. I thought that was implied, but it wasn't clear. Apologies.))

Cyra watched as both Liro and Cairne left the room. She took Liro's advice and picked up the sword, then sat back down near Remilia. Stupid house.

Liro noticed somebody walk up behind him, judging by the weight of the footsteps it was probably Cairne unless Cyra put up some weight. "What's up?" He asked to Cairne while still fiddling about with the tablet.
Cairne: "You know what's up; I saw you watching us. Anyway, nice bed. Is that a floor map of this house?" Cairne glances at the tablet being carved.
Liro: "Yep."
Cairne looks over at the wall labeled "secret".
There is nothing visible there.
Cairne knocks on the wall. It echoes hollowly.
Liro: "Uhh.. What are you doing?"
Cairne: "What's in there?"
"Nothing," said Liro, calmly.
Cairne asks Liro what materials he used to build the wall.
Liro: "Regular stone, why?
Cairne: "What the hell is "regular stone"? I thought you were the Guardian of Ground, shouldn't you-"
Cairne is suddenly distracted by the appearance of a "stone" chair in his field of vision.
Liro threw his arms into the air. "Whatever is deep underground."
Cairne: "-wow, is that a chair?"
Liro: "What does it look like to you?"
Cairne is acting as if he has never seen a chair in his life. At least, not one that looks like this.
Liro: "Uhhh... Are you okay?"
Cairne snaps out of it. "You're starting to sound like Cyra."
Liro rolled his eyes. "What are you doing here anyway, aren't you supposed to be making out with her or something."
Cairne: "...she's fucking insane, and would probably bite off my tongue or something. What's her aspect, anyway?"
Liro: "Corruption, is there something wrong with your memory or did she never tell you?"
Cairne: "I don't think she mentioned it. Guess that explains a lot."
Liro: "Explains what, her being insane?"
Cairne laughs a bit, and nods his head.
Liro: "...Yeah... We've tried to kill each other multiple times."
Cairne rolls his eyes, smiling.
Cairne: "That was a joke, right?"
Liro: "Nope."
Cairne: "...Why the hell are you two living together, then?"
Liro: "...We're not living together. I just-"
Liro suddenly felt as if he had to do something.

Cairne: "Oh by the way, some weird bug-looking thing came from this direction."
Liro stared at the tablet, motionless.
Cairne: "Remillia killed it though. You know anything about it?"
Liro didn't reply.
Cairne noticed Liro's freezing in place.
And decided, for whatever reason, to hug him.
Cairne: "Dude, are you okay?"
Liro thought about what to do next. [Do I make another house or finish this one... What does this one even need.]
Cairne: "Hey, I was thinking, since you're good at architecture and all..."
Cairne: "...would you want to help build me a home?"
Liro's eyes lit up; he almost squealed in happiness. "Sure!" Liro tried to stand up but he realized he was being held by Cairne.
Liro pushed his arm away, staring bewilderedly at Cairne.

Cairne forgot he was hugging him and pulled his arms back, nearly recoiling.
Cairne: "Uh, sorry, you spaced out for a second there."
Liro: "...So you hugged me?"
"You really are desperate aren't you," says Liro sarcastically.

"Okay, geez, I guess I'll just build my own house then," teases Cairne.
Liro frowned, pushed his chair backwards and stood up.
Cairne: "Just kidding, you're like a genius with this stuff."
Liro smiled.
Cairne: "How'd you build this so quickly?"
Cairne seems impressed.
Liro thought about it... But he couldn't seem to remember.
Liro scratched his head.

Cairne: "Ah, never mind, you're the guardian of ground, so of course you'd be skilled with these sorts of things."
Cairne: "Even if you weren't, you're still the first I've seen to actually care about having a place to stay."
"I wanna build a city." Liro said plainly.
"That's a wonderful idea!" Cairne says excitedly.
He can just imagine the city in his mind.
But he can't think of how to get mortal citizens to reside there.
Cairne: "...Who would live in it, though?"
Liro: "Dunno."
Cairne: "Wouldn't a city need to have a good militia as well?"
Cairne: "Any ideas about that?"
Liro: "I'm supposed to lead a golem army or something."
Cairne gets a wicked grin.
Cairne: "You can make golems, too?"
Cairne is seriously impressed by this turn of events, and it shows.
Liro: "Nope."
Cairne: "...Oh."
Cairne seems crestfallen, but the expression immediately changes to one of deep thought. He gets an idea.
Cairne: "So that "secret" room over there-it's empty, yes?"
Liro: "Yep."
Cairne: "I might have come up with a solution to your golem problem while finding a use for that room."
Liro stared at Cairne.
Cairne: "...Are we going inside?"
Liro: "Sure!" He stood up and walked towards the wall and put his hand against it.
Liro is slighly confused.
He shrugs then pushes the wall forward. It falls over with a large noise.

The two enter the space.
Cairne: "Could you, um, maybe put the wall back?"
Cairne: "Otherwise it's not much of a secret."
Liro pulled Cairne forward then lifted the wall and mended it back.
Cairne: "Alrighty, then."
Cairne: "So, what did these golems look like?"
Cairne: "Could you make one for me?"
