Alpha102 put himself in the corner. You act like it's a bad thing that I made him claim.
Why would he claim alien if he wasn't alien? There are plenty of roles to claim that have a much higher chance of survival with a fake-claim.

yes, but if everyone played like this we would have to come to an argument that all of their posts are irrelevant because each and every post they made was to bait someone into admitting they were mafia. you know very well it's risky for town-sided players to do too much baiting, their essentially putting themselves into suspicion and therefore making themselves a lynch target. I doubt you'd play like this if you were an important town powerrole so either you believe your role is disposable or you're third party/mafia.

wouldn't you consider baiting too much and causing this much confusion (so as to actually possibly start a band wagon and kill someone) to be going a bit too far in the way of "scumhunting?"

yes, absolutely. It can be helpful to start getting the day going and help getting reads on people, but overbaiting can easily hurt the town. I don't buy Hunters arguments for a second, essentially he's just putting out as much there against alpha, or whoever he really can put arguments out against, and then when he's being called scummy for it just saying "I'm just trying to find scum" It can't really work that way with this much confusion if the town wants any chance of finding scum.

You're arguments are unfounded and you're essentially just trying to say "I'm just trying to find scum" after maliciously throwing the town into chaos. I'm confident you aren't a power role because you wouldn't play like this if you were and I don't really believe your town sided at this point.
