I'm feeling a little sleepy still, but
I'm speaking because it can help determine roles, since you know, setup determines roles, and roles determine if you're with the town or not.
Yes, I understand what you mean, but unless you want to start analyzing every single bit of everything everyone's ever said about mafia games, there's really no way you can use amnesia mechanics to determine roles. They can still be literally anything, the amnesia roles are not restricted to one group of roles, so you can't really make anything out of them.
Of course, I acknowledge the possibility that there might be different forms of amnesia, which could mean my own theory about it is incorrect, but the way I see it, there's simply no way we can use it to determine anything.
Why I'm so strongly urging us to drop it is because in case you haven't noticed, there's a deadline in place. At this moment we have a little over 3 ½ days left, before the night hits, and I'd really like to get to some kind of a decision before that happens, since I'm still a strong supporter of a D1 lynch.
And here's a theory: you understand that we cannot use amnesia to actually determine much, but for some reason wish to delay discussion that could bring us closer to a lynch. Maybe it's because you're a mafia and see one of your buddies constantly in the limelight, maybe it's because you're a townie that thinks that No Lynch is the best option (in which case just voting No Lynch would be easiest), maybe you're a third party with god knows what motives.
Or maybe you really think that we can use amnesia to determine individual roles, in which case my question to you would be this: how can we use amnesia to determine individual roles and if you can't talk about it here because of PM mechanics, then how is it supposed to work anyway, if the rest of us don't know how it's gonna work?
