Plus, Notty claimed the exact same role that mid had, right down to the win condition and alignment. I don't know, call me crazy if you like, but I don't think it's very likely that there's two of the exact same role in the game.

I'm going to assume user hid with a member of the Mafia and that's how he died (although right now we don't really know but that's a safe bet)
Which means we most likely have 3 roles that can kill.
I'm going to guess Mafia, some kind of town Vig, and maybe a third-party killer? (or maybe Mafia has 2 kills, or town has 2 kills o .o, so many possibilities)

Anyways I think I'm confident in believing in Notty's third-party role claim.
She just claimed third-party cop yes? Since midnight was also a third-party cop (alignment) and I doubt Notty would have actually known there were more beforehand (I doubt many of us would have seen that coming) it seems highly believable.

He definitely wasn't a threat to town with so many people suspecting him.
Any arguments he made would have been fought off by others who had it out for him.
The feud between hunter and others would have done nicely to halting productive argument and letting mafia go unnoticed.
