Guardian of Corruption​

Every creature in the scene seemed perfectly calm right after a battle and some sort of swooping bird. Liro completely ignored what Cyra had said and directly involved himself in the scene. Welp, look at all the people that hate her gathered in one place. Great choice coming here. She mentally and sarcastically congratulated herself.

She sighs and look at Topaz and Ross with a pleading look. "B-Burn it-t o-or someth-thing, I don't c-care!" she groans, swatting at it some more.

The bird flies over to Cyra's head and attempts to build a nest out of the collected material.

Topaz nodded, "Mhm." She said, looking toward Zwn and the bird, "U-uh... what about you? Shouldn't you be concerned about being burned?" She asked.

Cyra sighed as the bird settled on her head. Well the other creatures are surely going to notice now. Thanks, bird.

The bird roosts contently on the scythe-holder's head.

"G-god d-damn-nit I'm f-fine!" she grunts, crossing her arms and frowning. The bird lifts itself up from her head and flies over to someone else. Zwn follows the bird with her eyes and watches as it lands on Cyra's head. Cyra. She narrows her eyes, expression going cold.

Topaz watched the bird fly off, landing on someone else's head, "You sure you're okay, Zwn?" Topaz questioned, though had a feeling it might go ignored from the expression she had upon seeing the other girl.

Yup. Thanks. Cyra noticed Zwn's cold glare as the bird contently settled on the Guardian of Corruption's head. Well, either the staring continues or something much more exciting than that will happen. Cyra waited.

After watching the girls facing, Ross turns to see what they're looking at. And then he sees her: Cyra. With a scythe. He leans in to Zwn and lowers his voice, "On the scale of one to ten, how pissed are you right now?"

Seeing the figures in the distance, he walks towards them until he reaches them. It seems there's some sort of argument going on. He glances back, making sure the other body remains unconscious. "What's going on in this neck of the woods?" he asks, his voice empty and expressionless.

Lowering her gaze, she spots the scythe and begins to fume inwardly, her face continuing to be like stone. "On a scale of one to ten?" she mutters through clenched teeth, "Eleven." The girl digs her nails into her legs, carefully watching Cyra, who doesn't seem to be moving any time soon. "So..." she begins, checking her nails with a face void of discernable emotion, "We have crossed paths again, Cyra." The way she says the hooded girl's name is cold and unnerving, completely out of character for the small, sweet girl. The wolf girl then looks up, giving Cyra a childish smile that is oddly eerie and dark.

"Yup, hi." Cyra noted that the enraged Zwn had glanced at the scythe. Of course, Death's scythe. She's the Guardian of Life. Why wouldn't she?

Ross left Zwn to her fuming....He didn't particularly want to be too close. For such an innocent girl, she had a deep well of hatred for Cyra. He stood up, turned, and walked stone-faced up to Light. "Is this going to be like every other time we've met, Light?" His tone on the final word contained all of the contempt Ross held for the other Guardian.

Topaz was slightly surprised by the rage Zwn had, deciding to leave her be, considering she'd rather not get in her way at this point in time. She glanced at the guardian, though elected to ignore his question, partially because she didn't know herself exactly what was happening.

A smile plays on his face "About that, the one you're talking about is there." he says, pointing with whatever little bone sticking out remains of his index finger. "Long story short, we'll have to wait until that magic penguin wakes up so we can fix him. I'd carry him over here to make sure nothing happens to him. But err, one arm... yeah."

"Magic penguin? You mean Endal? And to get this straight, we've never met?" Ross' blood had been nearly at the boiling point, but fortunately he calmed down in time and became less stand-offish toward the newcomer.

"You seem quite pissed, mate." he says, grinning widely. "I might've never met you, but that other one might've. I don't know. And yes. I mean that 'Endahl' guy."

Ross took a breath, and walked away. He sat back down next to Topaz; he didn't want to be in the metaphorical explosion radius that is Zwn, but didn't want to deal with Light. "So...How do you feel about this whole situation?"

He spits on the ground as he walks away, and takes position next to Zωή, looking at the corrupt guardian holding a scythe in front of them "And who might you be?"
