The ground was bare dirt again, bare dirt for miles.
He could once again feel his two fur-coated canine bodies.
He wasn't really sure if what he had experienced during his slumber was simply a dream, or... well, it couldn't have simply been a stray memory coming back for him to reflect upon; He'd never seen such a mansion before, nor their owners being in one.
This mystery would take a little time to explain, though it might be best not to bring it up in conversation with any one.
It was then that Catcocomics noticed a total lacking of guardians, though it didn't take him long to spot what appeared to be a jungle; it had just barely missed growing over him during his slumber and seemed quite large in comparison to his shorter-than-normal stature (not that he was very tall by default).
Hearing faint voice from within or beyond (the scents of the others were drowned out by all the strange plants), Catcocomics decided to head through.
Much of the plant life seemed rather tame, however unfamiliar they seemed; despite vegetation growing all over the place, he had encountered less peaceful plants in the past.
Noticing a decline in the density of vegetation, as well as the voices sounding closer, Catcocomics knew that he was nearing the edge, when a large vine suddenly wrapped around his body and lifted him into the air (resulting in a sharp yelp).
Turning slightly, Catcocomics saw as hi fox body was grabbed by the chaotic plant, and attempted to bite the large vine, though he found that his teeth were merely sliding off it.
He noticed a large bulb where the vine was coming from, and tried to ram it with his head, but that didn't quite turn out so well, as another vine grabbed his wolf body.
Deciding he had no other choice, Catcocomics let out a long and loud howl.
