They dragged the body to the middle of the circle. "Okay, drop him here." the boy said, releasing the tension from his arm. He sighed, "Okay. 'Robes', go over there and prepare some magic stuff." He turned to the hooded guardian and pointed to her, as if picking her from a group of people "You: Please, don't fuck anything up." Unconsciously, annoyance and cynicism were already becoming apparent in his voice. He walked over to the magic guardian, who was busy preparing to use large amounts of energy.
"I know you're lying about your finger." Light crossed his arms and thought for a second. He opened his mouth- "I know a larger sacrifice is needed than just a tiny appendage." Endal spoke before he could, leaving him silent for a few seconds to recollect his words. "I already have something. Just move on."

"Alright, you ready?" the brown-haired boy said, standing next to the robed guardian. "Sure, I'm ready." with that, the purple-robed guardian pulled down his goggles and extended his arms. Sparks of all colours appeared as a small beam protruded from his hands, slowly becoming thicker as more magic energy was fed into the circle, which was glowing a brilliant purple by now. It didn't take long before the light got too bright, forcing them to look away. A loud, booming sound waved through the air, like a hammer constantly bashing on their skulls.
Endal yelled, his voice barely audible over the loud, booming sound: "The sacrifice!" the one-armed boy's face grimaced. He knew what was going to happen, and he had to do it.
Finish what he started.
He pushes the magic guardian out of the way, and ran into the circle, drawing his pocket knife and digging it into his chest before one could even yell at him.
And then, he was dead.

meanwhile, Catcocomics wakes up and gets caught by a plant or something

presumably a period of time in the past
as neither groups have interacted

"A girl with blond hair. Her name was Cynthia." I think harder on her face, trying to pull memories along with it. I squeeze my eyelids shut and concentrate. I see Cynthia's face, her hair separated in strands that cling to her face. As I focus more on the memory, I see that her face becomes smeared with dirt and soot. I press my hands to my temples, straining my mind to produce more. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the background becomes consumed in a fiery field. Her face blackens and falls off, disintegrating into ashes. I stumble and almost fall over again. "She... died," I say solemnly. "In a fire." I recall when Fear invaded my mind and when I had the vision of flames engulfing my body. "I think I was in the fire when she did too... When Fear went into my mind, I saw myself being burned alive.
"For now, that seems to be it." I smile apologetically. "Should go back now?" My fears have taught me a lot about myself. I think back to my vision of the fear of being alone; the one I saw Cynthia in. For some reason, Takot was standing next to her instead of the other Guardians. Why was he?

More howling could be heard coming from not too far into the jungle.
Being airborne was generally fine, even natural for Catcocomics. However, he didn't quite like the thick vines constricting his body much, and even less enjoyed being utterly helpless.
Deciding it would be best to try countering this chaotic monstrosity of a plant, Catcocomic began furiously scratching at the vines that were holding him.
At first, the plant didn't quite seem to notice, possibly due to the vines being extremely thick, but soon enough, Catcocomics hit a nerve.
Reacting to the scratches, the plant furiously flung both of Catcocomics' bodies. Dazed, he got up to find he was just one body again, or rather, couldn't access one of his bodies anymore.
Looking around, he found that his wolf body had been slammed against a tree and was now half buried in a pile of an extremely hard-looking fruit.
He could now smell the guardians, their scent being fresh here (particularly Ross' and one other's), and decided to head towards them. Tora was bound to be with the guardians, perhaps she could help.

We trek back to the edge of the jungle and I poke my head out of the treeline. I am surprised to see Zwnsleeping on the ground with Tadashi and another unrecognizable feline, and Alouette sitting next to her. A slight smile rests upon my lips. They look so peaceful, I think. I motion Takot over to me. "Look," I tell him, pointing to Zwn and the two felines. "They're asleep."
Takot looks around. Over on the other side, he can see Zwn. "Awh, she looks so cute when she's asleep."
I cock my head to the side, examining her a bit more. "Yeah, I guess you're right." Seeing them resting reminds me of my own fatigue. I am unaware of the passage of time since I woke up here – I don't think there is even a day/night cycle – but it was certainly more than a day, and a lot has happened. I yawn. "I think I'm going to go to sleep too. I'm pretty tired."
Takot looks around. "I – oh, okay."
I take a step out from the jungle, putting my arms up and squinting, my eyes straining against the sun which is no longer blocked by the leaves. After they adjust, I walk over to Zwn and Alouette. Closing my eyes and concentrating, I summon a generic blanket and lay it softly over Zwn, Tadashi and the other cat so as to not wake them up. When I look to the side at Alouette, however, my smile drops as I see her face. I consider putting a hand on her shoulder to console her, but decide against it. "Alouette," I say quietly, "are you okay?" I'm still tired, but it can wait – I can tell that this isn't a very light matter.

I still feel like she's lying, but I quickly lose confidence in myself to push forward. And, after all, if I want people to trust me, why should I distrust them? "Haha, no, it doesn't." I get up on my knee and stand up. "I just want you to know, though, that I have a fear of being completely alone. The silence and the loneliness eats away at me like nothing else. But I always seemed to end up alone – I can remember that much. So, I know what it's like. I don't like to assume things about people, but it must be hard for you since your brother's not here right now." I shift my feet. "So, just, if you need to talk to me about anything, I'll listen. I won't judge you or anything – I'm a victim myself. Loneliness is a horrible feeling; I don't want you or anyone to feel alone." With that, I pivot on my feet and walk away.

I decide that it will be my own little "room," but for now it will just be for sleeping. Ross was growing restless. And bored. He wanted to fight. He was sure there was one around, even if it was just sparring. He set the notion aside; there was no point to any sort of fighting at this time.
Instead, he busied himself with creating a trinket or two. Frivolous use of his powers, yes, but it was minimal and thus acceptable. He went about it the same way he did any other item he's crafted: layer by layer. He had no real notion of what it was going to be, but he figured it'd suffice to begin with a sizable orb and form it from there.
