On your first playthrough you must ascend at 139, you wont get further, but make sure to get 7-10 hero souls out of it (12k hero levels)

Depends, I bought like three ancients and leveled some up but the souls give you a DPS and Click bonus of +10% each and now that I'm back at level 118 I'm wishing I had that bonus

Been playing for about a week now, currently at 582q DPS. I'm hoping to use Amenhotep's double 20% DPS upgrade for all heroes soon.


Edit: Once all my heroes reach level 1,000 (which by then I'll be more than strong enough to beat up to 139 ) I will use Amenhotep's + Beastlord's DPS upgrades. I also hope to have enough hero souls by then. I'm not too sure how 'ascensions ' work, are they basically just another form of leveling up?

when you ascend you start over from the beginning, but you keep:

Your hero souls
Your gilded heroes.
Your Ancients

I would recommend ascending at level 139, because it's much more stress and work to try to beat it on your first run.

ascensions are amenhotep's last upgrade which resets the world and gives you hero souls which you can use for gilding and buying ancients

they also give a dps/click boost of 10% per soul
