Love the map, and I don't think that the "ghosts" will cause any trouble.
Yes people will build jump courses up to them, but is it any different than the airships in some maps?

Even if it did become a reoccurring problem, people becoming unreachable on the towers, you could surround them with 10 layers of op_air. Giving no one the chance to even get close to them.
I wasn't meaning it in the sense of players being unreachable, but I didn't really explain myself very well. Dead and Mega did a much better job, "politically incorrect", "bad taste", however you want to say it.

It wasn't that it would offend anyone, it just seemed a little in the way of bad taste.
I have to disagree. I see no bad taste in remembering what happened. In fact I find the ghost twin towers as a memorial to what happen on that day.:( Now if they had the fire and smoke in them... that is a different story.
But just looking at ghost towers wouldn't cause the average viewer to feel the pain an suffering that happened on that day. But rather it causes the person to pause and remember.
Yes I am an American if you are wondering. Even though I personally did not loose someone, I totally understand that there are probably some people who will play this map, who lost a love one on 9/11. :( But I think that they would appreciate knowing that we have not forgotten.

I REALLY LIKED erikkruchten's idea of putting op_air around the ghost towers. To keep them as a memorial, not just another part of the playing field.

I still think ground 0 would be a better memorial

I have a very conflicted opinion on this matter.

I could see it raising issues with some people. Then again the map "beachlanding" seems to be inspired by the Normandy landings or WW2 in general, and that was a pretty horrific event. I suppose it's how much you look into it.

Arranging a few blocks on Minecraft is not a memorial. This isn't an issue of remembering anyone or paying respect to anything. It's just in bad taste, it would be like making a london map and lining bodies and exploded trains up in the subways.

There is a ground zero memorial, directly beneith the towers, is the fountains that stand at ground zero now

and @Megatron i dont think it is bad taste, due to clear reasons. I would understand if i had a plane flying into the tower. But the ghosts are the highest points in the map, and u can easily build to them from the nearby towers.
