Meet new optifine feature: Dynamic Lighting. It makes torches work, when held meaning you can travel easily when its dark.
It is allowed on RoF.


Is it allowed to use on AoD or upcoming SMP Vatumok ?

It looks like a fun feature and not an actual advantage over other players. I see no reason to ban this feature in AoD or SMP, feel free to use it until further notice.

Hmmm Creattive round is here, so I could pick jack o lanterns.

These glowing pumpkins then AoD hunters could be easily spot in darkness, on other hand optifine all just needs is install forge and then copy optifine to mod folder. (Its Dynamic Lighting option under Video/Quality settings)
Or we could swap hunters jackolnatern with pumpkins.

I think it would be bit of advantage on dark maps - if you could see moving light source, it would mean either its survivor with torch or hunter.

So I decided to go on RoF because I wanted to see why everyone liked it. This is what greeted me when I logged on, either afk or non-welcoming people. Atleast the staff on rof are welcoming...
