Well, regarding the "few days" things was me telling a lie, I didn't want the fence finding out who I was, I received the message very recently before I made that post, 2 hours or so
(I had in mind the idea if I said a different time frame it would obscure my role)

Well, if this is true and you weren't just threatened to say this and change your story to frame Friendy:
But if you were just threatened by the fence then I'm assuming Friendy is being set up by the fence, in which case my theory kind of becomes a bit useless I guess.

superhalo6 if you are being threatened I doubt you'll be shot by anyone because they'd immediately be lynched if you're innocent, and if they're threatening to get you killed in the night then the doc could always protect you (or maybe not who knows!!!), but if you are being threatened it basically proves Friendy's innocence in my eyes. UNLESS it's all reverse psychology to make us think that AND THE FENCE KNEW WE WOULD PICK UP ON THE CHANGE OF HALO'S STORY, SEE IT AS A THREAT TO FRAME FRIENDY, SEE FRIENDY (THE FENCE) AS INNOCENT AND LYNCH SOMEONE ELSE DUN DUN DUN!
But yeah super if you're being threatened Notty was also threatened and they didn't get shot so I think the fence is bluffing but obviously it's up to you. And if you aren't threatened then my vote remains on Friendy for now since it makes him seem like the fence to me and I'm not totally trusting of some anonymous list that just so happens to come out in time for us to quickly unvote Friendy and lynch one of them instead, who probably aren't even mafia anyway (but the cop can check that tonight).
then me revealing my theory should be useful in 1) proving it is possible that Friendy is the fence and is desperately trying to save himself by revealing the accurate/inaccurate list of the 'mafia' 2) proving Notty is telling the truth about being contacted but it would also 3) potentially reveal the protestor if I'm right about all this.

At this point I am certain that the Fence is trying to frame the protester who is on our side of this. However Super, what exactly did the fence's messages look like? Did the messages from the protester and the fence seem similar (in writing style)?

And I am not being threatened, the fence does not seem to be the kind of person to do that.
Things in the message make me believe it is the protestor, and it could put them at risk.
