Logic says Friendy was not the fence. It's technically possible but then he would have never played it this way. Because Dess was mafia leader for now we have to trust the list superhalo posted. The chance that the fence randomly guessed he's maf or that the rank randomly got changed to mafia leader is too small to assume now.

if propagandist is lynched today, ability will be used on themselves causing uncertainty on list
if propagandist is lynched tomorrow, ability will be used tonight or on themselves tomorrow causing uncertainty on list
