both are based on the roles of the characters being true to their show counterparts, sure, there's variance in that you're advocating for a faction-based meta solution and the jolt-is-a-janitor argument would require a role ability based meta solution, but they both make the same base assumption, which is that the roles are connected to the characters in function, not only flavour

yes and the difference between faction-based and "my character wears this uniform so he's probably a janitor and that means he's mafia janitor role", means that they are two different arguments

dude this isn't about her, i know what she's claiming to be and what the arguments are against her
i'm way more interested in you and why you don't want to share the details you've been advertising since page 1
it's still making the same fundamentally flawed core assumption, namely that the roles have to be connected in function to the characters
accept one and deny the other and you're going against your own core assumptions
have you considered
that perhaps the reason we don't understand
is because you're keeping some of the information from us
or perhaps because you evaluate your communication skills somewhat higher than they actually are

No, it isn't, it's going with the assumption that in a themed game, where the town's faction is specified, the mafia's faction would probably be on the same axis at the opposite end, because that's probably a likely characteristic of a themed game
it has nothing to do with individual abilities relating to a character's costume in the show
have you considered
that, as I have said, none of the information I have kept from you is beneficial to whether arelic is mafia or not, especially considering your view of meta arguments being bad
the only information you need to know about my argument is that she'd bird person, which she's confirmed, and then you need to know some information about the show
