Oh right the elephant thing, I can explain that!

You see the tower is number XVI (16) which happens to be my sign-up number so when I got my role I immediately assumed(wrongly) that everyone got their tarot card based on their sign up number. A pretty unique way to hand out the cards in this game but since all cards have numbers it seemed likely to me.

So then when we were all making card jokes I also made some bad existing card jokes to people with that number(the hanged man, wheel of fortune and The Unknown which in the Temperance deck(I think) is the extra card which makes 23 total). I even called you out on being the Devil card when I was talking about roob's argument, since you're number 15 on the sign up list but you rated it optimistic and I wasn't really sure whether you were giving me a sign or not. Anyways that brings me to the elephant picture where I not-so-covertly tried to see if my signup number-tarot cards theory was correct by seeing if Oog was the Hierophant(V) by posting a hieroglyph of an elepahnt (hiero + phant boy am I not a genius am I right), but since Oog had 0 idea even though he's number 5 on the sign up list I figured I was probs wrong on that. Which was moreso confirmed when you called the Devil card Mafia.

I was gonna attack harder but your response kind of satisfied me enough to lower my suspicion so I'm throwing myself back on the No-Lynch wagon now.

Again, I only supported a massclaim if one condition was met: that nobody came forward to say that their role was surprisingly different to what might be expected.

Heck ill claim character and role to prove my point if people want (since i dont have a strong active power, so it doesnt rlly harm town to claim), but strong town pr could be 'exposed' (like maybe not exact, but if there is eg 2/3 character likely to be a cop, that would make it easier to target them).

Because as you were the one originally pushing the idea that the tarot cards could align with roles, I'd like to hear which card you are as to both apply that to your suggested model and just think about it in general.

I know a mass claim would be dumb just in case there is a 3p role that needs to kill certain cards or something but knowing 1 more card, your card, probably wouldn't hurt.

There's no real reason to refuse as neither town/mafia know if there's a link yet.
