Is there any sort of... rent reduction... for an ingame businessman's home?
(Oh dear lawdy I'm turning into a CEO who wants an easy break, someone stop me dear lawd what have I done)
But seriously, is there a discount for that, or...?

If you rent before the 11th, there's a 50% discount. Either way, you can afford a normal house with 4 days of voting. Shouldn't be hard, right?

So... you want to rent a plot to use as a store? We might be able to work things out, depending on income and how interested people would actually be in traveling to the store.

I mean, as soon as I actually construct the store and begin to generate income, then I *should*, in theory, be able to pay the regular amount of rent.
One issue, though, and it's almost constantly prevalent in the servers - the playerbase appears to be independent. Self-sufficient. Hard-working. Unable to cope with simply buying a tool rather than making one.
It's not a good playerbase to do business with, since they are so confident that they don't need to buy from anyone, they just thrive off of self-sustainability... truly not a capitalist atmosphere, and I severely hope it changes. Help the server economy, buy from local shops.

And for the future, the best way to get a thread unstuck is to report it (Mentioning you want it to be unstuck of course)

As evident by the fact that it got reported some 8 minutes ago, and is now unstickied... as opposed to making a post 14 days ago, without tagging people who have the power to do it, just hope that someone randomly walks in and sees it.

So yes, @Defiant_Blob either tag server specific controllers in the post next time, or alternatively, report the thread. (Tagging is slower, but is somewhat preferred.)
