Leaving Primordia for a couple days

I'm leaving Primordia for a couple days, I'm just getting extremely pissed off with quite a few of the users because they are so arrogant and they actually cause a bit of Drama yet nobody notices.

Mainly going to cool down, The Playerbase is kinda screwed at the moment, Everyone is breaking the C.O.P.S (Apart from Primus And Gaia), PvP no longer exists and is now more of a "We'll just come and kill you and you can't do anything about it"

Primordia isn't like it used to be, Which I miss, This probably looks like a rant post but it really Isn't, Just me saying that I'm leaving for a couple days and that the Council is In-charge of the family, Though, Defiant has the Upper-power.

Because nobody argued that much, Hardly any Drama and when there was it was sorted out easily, The PvP base a couple months back was much more.. Organised, And peaceful, I mean.. There wasn't this sense of raiding just because you could, It was a raid because you needed the supplies for your town/city, Now everyone is just raiding "Because they can" and we can't do anything about it because Instead of it being a raid for supplies we just end up killing eachother and taking everything, even the items that are useless.

I probably seem like a real dick in my first post and a few staff or/and members probably have changed their views on me but I'm not the only one that agrees with me.

I never really thought it would keep forever, but I'm kind of disappointed it's pretty much bombed already.

i have to agree . some people just seem hell bent on raiding and counter raiding simply to annoy. iv seen a few instances were people have decided to simply to kill, not even for resources and its starting to get way out of hand. have a good few days off

I think all this pent up frustration is due to the war that just happened. We knew that the families weren't ready for the war... and we never expected it to happen... but strangely enough it dead. What came after it was chaos, confusion and over-zealousness.

Not just that, When someone does PvP - E.G. moving to freelance to PvP they don't raid because they need to, They raid because they just want to raid.

I think this usually happens because raiding as part of a family is quite a difficult/stringent task and thus after a while people get a 'yearning' to raid

Meh, it's all speculations. But the one key point is that no problem is gonna solve itself if you run away :) The only way to get something solved is to all collaborate together and brainstorm ideas.

This is very key. Being the head of Aeres, you should've stayed with us and planned and/or fought back instead of backing away in a time of need.

I did, And I'd had enough of the Drama because Dagon members kept trying to fight with me about how I suposedly raided illegaly, So I left for a couple days to calm down, It isn't like the Council aren't capable of running the family for a day or 2.

Maybe we should have another PvP-free week as a sort of...punishment-type deal.

Look I don't want to generate a shit storm here, but you guys were the ones who wanted a more hard core PvP experience. Many players weren't satisfied with the "easy" nature of it. Also, we've seen the amount of players leaving families because they want to raid, as opposed to sitting around peacefully. We try to make the PvP as pleasant for everyone as we can but at the end of the day, we can't control peoples attitude towards getting raided.

I actually respect your decision to take a break Angel, wise choice in my opinion. If you feel you need to do that then good on you for doing it. But I do think that some people need to realise that Primordia is actually a set up of plug-ins and electricity flowing through a server running a game called Minecraft we all know and love. Notice I said "Game". Not "Real Life". If you get raided, tough shit. From what I've seen, a lot of you react the same way as if your real house got burgled.

So come on guys, relax a bit, lighten up, have some fun, respect the game and the other players, and keep the servers atmosphere happy and fun. Not bitchy and angry.
