Okay so there has been a lot of controversy about this game. A lot of people hate it and a lot of people love it. I personally rate the game a 9/10. It does a LOT better. Since there is only 1 thing to collect and there are many twists and turns it makes it so that you ALWAYS have a chance of winning. The game balances out well. As in my status, some people think that the game relies too much on luck. I do not think that. This game in my mind is about 45% skill, 45% luck, and 10% pushing your friend over to win a mini-game (I ALWAYS DO THIS) Once i got about 110 ministars. Only 5 were from the map (or what some people call "Luck") And i got around a whopping 100 from SKILL (AKA mini-games or others)(But seriously, the game is well balanced. I just pwn everyone at the mini games) . One of my favorite mechanics is the graph at the end. I LOVE GRAPHS. The graph at the end is awesome. Plus, the mini-games are AMAZING. They are much better than in mario party 8. They dont use the nunchuck like i had hoped, but they did well, utilizing the controller very well. Now onto the last thing: The "vehicle" mechanic. This mechanic is that everyone travels in the same vehicle, and that there is an END to the map. Yes, and END. I love this. They made it so that the maps are not too long, but not too short. I like the vehicle mechanic overall, but they could of improved it slightly. The only thing I hate is the saving. "You can only save once the game is finished" (WELL WHAT IS THE POINT OF SAVING ON PARTY MODE THEM GAAAWDDDDDDDDD)
Over all: I rate this game a 9/10. Many will love it, even my "Hardcore quick-scoper swag friends" (I hate this whole swag thing)
