If you gave a man--who has never fished before--a fishing pole and told him to fish, would he know how to fish?

I don't see how hard it is to answer their question and then (if applicable) tell them a command that provides relative help to their question. For example, "This map is (insert map name), you can also type /mapinfo to check," as it answers the (new) player's question and helps them learn how to find out the name of the map (as well other information on the map) that's currently loaded, on their own.

I understand they'll (maybe) understand what /mapinfo does if they are told to use it, but it frustrates me when (new) players have a command thrown at them when they ask a question even though that's not what they asked for.
