A Blocktopia TF2 server?

So yea, I know with a Tekkit idea going up yesterday and Guild Wars 2 this may not be the greatest time to suggest a TF2 server, but...

Honestly, I'm not really gonna come out and say we should add it instantly. I've been trying to figure out how to start one myself for a few weeks, and have no luck so far besides that create a server button. All I'd like to ask is if 1-Anyone would go on the server and 2-Would anyone help me set it up and such. If I could figure out how to run it, I'd be willing to set it up on my computer and maybe let it run idle during the day. Basically, would anyone be willing to help me set up a Blocktopia Test TF2 server.

I know Wateronflames sortof has one, though it's up rarely, and typically just for the 4Idiot's to play and/or record MvM. The community probably wouldn't have a Tf2 server anywhere near as official as we have a Minecraft SMP until maybe Minecraft goes out and we turn into a general gaming community (this is a theory about what might happen). Also, the Guildwars2 server is supported by Arenanet, not Blocktopia. You could try asking some of the TF2 players such as Aleey, Shande, Jayp, ect.

The problem is, we don't have a huge group of people that play here, it's large enough, but not huge. The second problem is that the Americans and Aussies don't necessarily have good enough internet to play on a European server. I'm in Ireland and my ping to American servers is generally not good enough to play a game comfortably. That splits the amount of people again. So.. maybe if we have more people?

You did check with admins, yes? For a Blocktopia server? Just may want to get permission from them before doing something like this.

Erm, I guess I'll ask about giving out the IP before that but I was really asking if anyone wanted to test a server out like this BEFORE making it Blocktopia. Basically, I wanna get some of the things right then ask about making it completely Blocktopia, but need someone to help me test it.

EDIT: And also, I'm not naming the server Blocktopia, giving out the forums, etc. through the server.

Kinda agree with Danny, but maybe adding something new would progressively make Blocktopia bigger as a whole. It doesn't need to be just Blocktopia players but new ones from TF2.
