Blocktopia has been a second home to me ever since I joined Classic Zombies back in 2011. I came into Blocktopia with very little experience of the internet, and no Minecraft experience. The first night I played zombies, I had a group of friends and family around me, oohing and aahing as I ineptly dodged zombies and ate some human brains. From that day on, I was completely hooked. After about three months in, started asking around for staff references, but as at the point I didn't even know we had a forums, I was not given any. A few months later, I finally got the hang of how the staffing thing worked, and got accepted as a Trusted around Easter of 2012.
I spent a bit more than 6 months as a CZ Trusted, and they were and are still the most fun I've ever had with a video game. I eventually resigned due to time restraints, and when I came back, I moved to SMP, where I staffed continuously for a little more than a year. There, I really became involved with staffing, and did my best to give something back to such an awesome place. I learned a lot about responsibility, typing, and manners, plus getting to hang out with some worthwhile people, all while playing my favorite video game.
You guys, this community, are all so friendly- I had no problems fitting in, having funny conversations, and playing on all the wonderful servers. Never having been to an internet community before this, I had no idea how lucky I was to have stumbled on such a welcoming, well-run place. All of you dudes made this place special, and I will always remember you for this.
In conclusion, I would like to say that I am not going to completely disappear. I am resigning because of increased focus on school and work, but I will still pop up if I have time on weekends or for events.

These are shoutouts that are just to people who helped me become a good staffmember. Don't feel hurt if you're left out, as I'll still be seeing all of my friends here occasionally, so it would be silly to say goodbye to y'all.

Marnixxie - You put together the most together and excited staffteam I've ever been a part of during SMP 4, with you're teamspeak votings and staff meetings. I learned a bunch from you, and I thank you for giving me my first Operator rank.
superstein - After becoming economist, you demonstrated to me capability and efficiency, all while having fun and being goofy. I learned most of my commands from you, which served me well in the future>
Biblius You are the most friendly staffmember I have ever seen. Whenever you invited a new member to Sancti and personally walked them to a house, you did more for raising server counts than any amount of events or advertising. Thanks for helping people (especially me) belong here, and being all around great guy and staff member!
JohnOgozalek You are the person who I have been watching for the longest time here, starting as trusteds together on CZ. You were an exemplary op, taught me a lot about the server ( I think you told me about the forums, not sure though) and kept my spirits up during my lengthy time as trusted. Finally, you made Elysium possible, and gave the amazing server of JtE the sending off it deserved. I remember spending 48 hours in a week over the summer, putting in dungeons that you made, working on Elysium with you, and having the time of my life.
