My first SMP was SMP 3:

I don't know the numbers exactly, but I'm assuming that the picture you posted is from the server that came afterwards given the "Immigrant" rank. The server featured in this thread was around from Fall 2010 until about February-ish of 2011, so you'll have to rely on your own memory to know whether or not you played on it.

If it happened after Beta 1.2 then could be SMP 3, and if not, then its SMP 2.
there was hmod/bukkit drama.
SMP 3 had city called Terragon, and I had house later here.
So most probably its SMP 2, as it was from February 2011.

I would estimate that 98% of the original structures are still standing-- the map was very corrupted before it was converted, which (unfortunately) resulted in the loss of a few chunks here and there. From what I've seen, though, barely anything was impacted and everything should still be right where we left it!

Parts of a couple other structures were also lost due to inevitable housefires resulting from fireplaces/lava left in homes before shutdown. Since we had fire disabled when the server was running, it wasn't a problem then. Thankfully, I managed to save a couple places (the misty mountain being one of them!) before fire started spreading. If something on the server you built has been burned down, let me know and I'll load the original region file and save it ASAP.

(Oh, and if you're worried about Rome, I promise it's all in one piece!)

It does have my Misty Mountain Railroad Experience thing for sure, though.

I think I mostly did work on the railroad. Oh, oh, I made that rotary cart dispenser everyone said was a piece of shit in the testing grounds!

Also: everyone else was wrong. It was my baby and it was perfect.
