Completed "Steins;Gate".
>>>>A story about a "mad scientist" who has created a time machine and decides to figure out how it works through trial, error, and plain messing around with it. Messing with time is not all fun and games though, as Okarin finds out soon enough and he must correct the wrongs he has done to the universe.
>>>>(Dang it is hard to explain how i feel about the show without spoiling anything) Liked the latter half, the previous half was okay, but was the appetizer that led up to a great latter, but on its own not so much. The lighting could have been improved where many times i couldn't see what was on my screen because it was filled with so much black. Definitely a good watch, brings up many good points as to why a time machine is bad news for the world.
Watched "One Piece" Episode 613 Zoro vs Monet
>>>>Zoro is such a badass in that episode. :O
Going to watch "Blood Lad"
>>>>It is short, been hearing good things about it, and it just ended. :3

[Comedy Demons Vampire Supernatural] (10 episode)

I will probably start watching other animes that are getting a second season this coming fall so i have something to watch other than One Piece and Naruto on Fridays/Saturdays. :3

Well i don't know what to watch now anybody got recommendations :3?
Welcome To The NHK is my favourite anime of all time. Maybe it'll float your boat as much as it floats mine...?

Other than that, I recommend Cowboy Bebop, obviously.
Welcome to the NHK is definetley on my soon to watch list. I received so many good reviews from it
I say go for it, but be warned, the humour is very dark and the storyline in general takes some pretty bleak turns. Still my favourite anime, though.

Hello fellow anime lovers! Trying to find another anime to watch this fall? One to replace the nitch in your soul when Sword Art Online finished?
Try "Log Horizon" it has almost the same theme as SAO where 30,000 people are trapped inside of the game, and have been trapped for so long that this new game has become their world. I didn't read the manga or anything like that, but it may be something to watch for it's similarities to SAO in a way.

I haven't watched ".Hack//", but from i have heard about it, I hope not. Wikipedia has "Log Horizon" labeled as an "Action/Adventure" anime which could indicate that it is more like SAO than .hack//. I found the manga's introduction on My Anime List to give a better introduction as to what setting we will be dropped into. I just thought it would be something to mention because of it's similarities to SAO in a way (first impressions here :3).
How would you react if one day you were sucked into an MMORPG and could never get out? After a mysterious incident, roughly 30,000 players from Japan are now forced to live their life inside the MMORPG "Ender Tales" and can not log out. Even death is met with a respawn. Even worse is the fact that food has absolutely no taste. All this combined, many of the players inside this MMO has lost any will to actually play this game, but they are never allowed to leave. A player named Shiro will venture forth to uncover the mystery behind the reason why they are inside this game.

I never got into .hack// and it all way's seemed like the same thing's happened over and over again. Then I just finished watching the first episode of Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon it was kind of hard to follow. Hopefully farther into the anime it's a bit easier to follow but I like it so fare. Thanks for posting it in here :D

Here's the real question

Is SAO any good to begin with

(This is an honest question, I'm not trying to be snarky or whatever)
>>>>I truly enjoyed SAO for the amount of immersion, action, art, and characters in the show. The show itself is about 10,000 people being trapped inside a game with no log out button. When you die in the game, you die in real life. This then becomes a race for survival to defeat all 100 floors to return to the real world. Though the race is on many people have adapted to this new survival transforming their prison into the new reality. The immersion that I got from watching this show is truly amazing since at one point when i finished watching an episode, i at first had no idea where i was only to realize i wasn't in Aincrad, but my room. The action scenes are truly remarkable and beautiful that leaves some clearly awe inspiring scenes to behold. Another point i loved was that it brought some philosophical point about "what is real" or "what makes us a person?"
>>>>Is it good? I believe it is excellent. :D

Edit:
Completed "Blood Lad"
>>>>Too short, way too short. I just started getting into the anime, beginning to understand their style of comedy, liking the characters, loving the plot, AND THEN, it ended. Definitely needs another season. Only major jab I can take towards the anime is that it had too much fanservice for my liking, but it wasn't bad enough that it was annoying, more on the awkward side of watching it. I loved the "Dragonball" references and the "otaku vampire" that our protagonist is. xD
Going to watch "Claymore"

[Action Adventure Fantasy Supernatural] (26 episodes)
>>>>My roommate recommended this to me since he watched it and I haven't. He wants to discuss it with me when i complete it. It is an anime that i can say from the first episode looks to be a gritty realistic anime that i haven't seen in a while. I believe i will enjoy this one. :D

That's what I'd heard about it so far, although I hadn't heard that thing about the philosophical points yet.

One thing I did hear is that it gets kind of sexist towards the end. Is there any truth to that?
>>>>There is some truth to that, with the few final episodes showing some risky scenes that may not be suitable for a younger audience. The scenes involve the female protagonist and the antagonist of the second arc that turns as some people have simply put a "princess peach, mario, and bowser predicament." The scenes though focus on a darker and more mature route of the normal predicament as stated above. The scenes are mostly used to cement the corruption and horrible deeds that the antagonist has done so far to accomplish his goal; though his goal is pretty evil even without these scenes. In a way it could be seen as "sexist", but also not for the fact that she is in a world that can be controlled and manipulated by the game maker i.e. the antagonist.

[bah this was difficult to put into words without spoiling anything D:]

In my own opinion (no offence to anyone), it was rather enjoyable at the beginning of the show. At the second arc however, it went downhill. I loved this anime, it was total fun watching it, but in terms of artistic value this show totally flops. There isn't much character development here and the plot wasn't too amazing. Show was also kinda rushed (can be excused seeing how it has only roughly 24 eps) and what annoyed me greatly was the inconsistency of the female protagonist and how unrealistic the anime is at certain points. I'm not talking about how getting trapped in a virtual world is unrealistic, but in terms of uhhh, how do I explain it, there are too much coincidences in the show. In addition, since I'm not a fan of romance, so there were a few mushy scenes in the anime which I cringed. If you don't mind all I said, go ahead and watch it. This is just my two cents, you are not obliged in anyway to agree with what I say and go with what I say :)

What?!? A differing opinion to my own and the majority? Brings up reasonable points and acts respectable while doing so?! Burn him at the stake! :p
