Does trying to join a server when it is full lag it? I'm sure if me, and a lot of others know, we can cut down on lag on the server...

Every connection takes a bit of network speed, so yes, people spamming trying to join *can* create the feeling of lag for the people on the server. Generally Minecraft handles connection attpts poorly, causing some slowdowns.

So we would like people to try and reconnect to a full server in a sensible manner, and it's also the reason a queue is the best for all interests
