I guess intuition. I called erik for possible mafia before because I saw him target 3rd specifically in some posts, mafia is more likely to hunt 3rd party. For the rest I just used process of elimination to find out what makes sense. You and page can't be maf. HK and TWG's claims just seem legit IMO and they don't seem scum. Notty -could- be mafia but's very far fetched, far more likely she is 3rd party. Oak is kind of a wildcard here, could be mafia or 3rd party or town. Ooglie then remains, I just figure he'd play like this as mafia.

Why do their claims seem legit
TheWeakGuy48_ bullet proof vest is sometimes given to SK, and I find it weird that some random townie would be bulletproof
Who you think is most likely to be mafia? Notty/Oak/Vaumok
Who you think is most likely to be serial killer? Oog/HKC/Vat
Who you think is most likely to be autocrat? HKC/Vat
Which of the above do you prefer to target today? I'd prefer a lynch on the Mafia, simply because there is always a chance that the SK will kill the mafia, while the Mafia would want to kill us.
How strong is this preference? Just a little preferable I guess

There's also the chance that if we kill Mafia, sk kills another, no other Mafia live and autocrat wins
Hmmmmm I'm rethinking my vote on oak, not because I don't think he's Mafia anymore but because of that risk, but then again there could be 5 Mafia this game but I forget how many players we had to begin with, but it could make sense especially if there's a serial killer

TWG's claim with "special power" definitely makes sense and lately he completely reads town to me. I think the bulletproof vest got said somewhere before too.
HK's claim of Ben Carson seems to fit in if you look at the other claims and deaths. Most Americans that died or claimed are Presidents or people running for Pres. I also read HK pretty town this game. Notty's claim Joe Biden seems to make way less sense which I why she lied and prob a 3rd party.

Those bullet proof vests are one-shot and there's usually several to fit some kind of special design like the jailer setup, because otherwise why have a random bullet proof
It just seems really bizarre and random but so does most of this game
I would guess for 5 mafia since we're 19 players in total if I counted correctly. But we have at least 3 3rd party and 2 of them are anti-town so I there's actually a big chance that theres 4 mafia total (2 left)

Why does Ben Carson making sense mean you trust hk? Do you think he's choose a fake politician that didn't make sense? He's been the one to analyse all the death patterns after all
I don't have all the answers, I'm just saying what I think the situation is. That's why I opened up the post by saying "intuition".
I can reply to your last comment. Scum that try to claim a fake name need to watch out they don't claim someone else's name. Also if they choose someone that's not well known it can come over suspicious. It just makes sense that town people will claim more legit names than scum.

Any major objections to shooting notty? She'll die at the end of the day. My gun is only one-shot but I THINK THIS IS WORTH THE BULLET
Also I'm assuming the vest is only for my gun bullet and I just can't see why a random vanilla town would get that

Bulletproof vest is pretty standard as 1 time kill protection, even from nightly mafia/SK kills. I guess it works on your gun too but not exclusively.
I don't have major objections to shooting notty.

I dont even understand your suspicion against me it's jist a bunch of 'Notty has been too spot on they must have extra information' which is a stupid reason to try and murder the most useful town person yet. Also did you have this gun since the start of the game or did you get it last night?
