Racing Event
We had a great turnout last night for the event, so thank you everyone for coming! The elytras and boat racing seemed to go down quite well, so we'll look at that more closely as a thing for the future. The results are in the spoiler below.

We're hosting a Christmas SMP with snowballs, eggnog, fruitcake, and others! Join us for the holiday spirit from the 17th to the 24th of December! SMP staff is also hosting the Hunger Games (22 Dec) and helping with the CTF event (23 Dec). Check this thread for more information!



No news, progress still on pause. Hoping to find the time to continue work in December but can't make any firm promises yet.​

We have 16 Mods+
5/4 staff not mentioned here are TTT/SMP staff - server is under maintenance/development.
That is Minecraft has 13 Mods+ including 7 mods and 2/4 Server/Community Admins.
And we used to have like 130 staff back in 2011 and first half of 2012. At least we are alive.
Bonus: there is no such thing as "staff drama" now.

Here is player activity in last two weeks.


Danni122112 what is progress on actual smp?
Infected_alien8_ when TTT was shutdown, so I can fix staff tracker over time?
I never removed TTT staff as I thought that will be quick update.
I hid SMP staff from roster when it shutdown and then removed them when they made Hunger Games or something like that event.
For now I'll just reduce all entries by 5 in staff amount tracker since July 2017 and remove TTT from quarterly server list in history of community thread assuming it was shutdown after first July.

TTT was never shut down, it was closed for maintenance since it broken but never shut down and staff are still staff at the moment

So what is IP of this server, and why it is under maintenance, that lasts at least six months?
SMP staff still is staff even though server is offline just like TTT.
I'm just applying same treatment to you as I did to SMP staff.
Player list shows, that both DarkRP and TTT aren't here.

The gametracker broke when the server broke so you won't find any data for it, the IP is the same as before, and the reason it's been down for a while now is because I, and everyone else who I've called upon to try to fix it, has no idea what is going on or how to fix it, and then I went to uni in October so couldn't work on it, but I left uni for Christmas today so I can try to get it working again but I still don't know how to fix it

If you're curious, the issues of the server are

1) ages ago I tried to setup fastDL as an alternative way to get clients to download models but it didnt work so I deleted it and removed it from everything I could find and removed the line of code that told the server to use the fastDL website, but the server still tries to make people download the old stuff that was in it, but it takes forever and I have no idea how to stop it

2) a bunch of traitor items sometimes just don't load into the server for no reason

3) the models and stuff I actually want people to download, arent downloaded, even though the file I use was checked over by other gmod people and it all seems like it should be working perfectly

EDIT: I've also tried making a whole new server and it still didn't work but I'm sure I'll think of something else to try

And I tried reinstalling things in many many different ways

I've tried lots of things :(

While SMP and TTT staff aren't listed on my forum staff roster, I modified google staff roster, that TTT says its under maintaince and added SMP list saying, that server is under development.
So basically waiting for SMP to get out of womb and for TTT to get out of coma.
