[Denied] CMD to show available staff.

The idea is simple. Implement a command that shows all staff on irc that players can use to see who's available. Im on late night hours sometimes, when it seem there a few to none op+ online and im not sure who to ping if anyone is available. You could call it /irc . (pretty basic)

I'm not sure if its possible to tie the two together, but just a suggestion.

Maybe it could be set to see those who are on irc which are ranked below controller. That way we won't ping those HA and HC. Also including controllers.

I actually had a similar idea to this, where it only showed the voiced people on irc, meaning the Controller+ and unvoiced trusteds wouldn't show up. So, as you can probably tell, I like the idea : P.

Although a simple solution that problem is go to #blocktopia and check if there are available names of some lava staff

This was my fear, as i knew their would be people on irc (like busy head-staff) that don't want to be pinged. So if theres a way of implementing what xgen said, i say go for it.

Also, a question, does each server has its own seperate irc? I think so since i never see zombie staff getting pinged, but i'd hate for that to be a problem to.

Anyway, from what I heard from the other TNT staff, I don't think it is possible to do that. But speaking from my experience as a TNT staff member, get yourself a basic IRC client to run in the background, and generally when staff are connected to the staff channel they are also on #blocktopia. (I do this)
