I think a seperate server for Death Runs would be a really cool idea. A lot of people whine about Death Runs on Lava, and I think it's a format you could do a lot with. The minesweeper map is a good example of how malleable a format the death run is, and maybe with more puzzle based maps, longer runs, "world records" (high scores) on each map and slightly improved entry into runs (like the disappearing floor in duality), then a Death Run server could be really exciting.

I believe lack of funds/quality staff/other admin-knowledge means no. It actually was it's own seperate server in the beginning, but was integrated into Lava Survival.
(Don't have time to check right now but, I /think/ this was suggested before?)
There were multiple reasons it moved to lava, and I doubt it is going to its own server due to the lack of funds/staff/etc.
