Hello dear gentlemen and ladies I present you my first map named Desert Run.This map is based on running also there is one secret, the theme of this map is desert with cactuses.You can try the map out on Erik's Map Factory by typing /g desertrun

It looks like you just made a /newlvl desert map then put a jumpcourse on it with a secret under it.
also, another runner map being submitted?

I put a lot of work in it Summer I did most of it by hand. And for another map being submitted. I talked to Damer_Flinn about this running map and he said It is okay since we don't have a lot of desert themed running maps

It's actually a Themed Runner map, Do you see a Themed runner map in rotation? Because I don't and he worked hard on the map as I watched him make it for a while and he did a good job.

he did I didn't say he did and we still have marnixxie's themed map in the submissions and we have about 5 other runner maps in submissions.
I am tired of seeing them that's it, imo if we have too many runner maps then they get stale and we don't appreciate them as much.

But everyone freaks out when there is a runner map and votes for them, Wouldn't Runner maps improve players Surviving skills too?

Yeah but imagine all runner maps ALL the time they would get old and everyone would hate them(most likely)
I like runner maps as much as the next guy but they will get old if we overdo it... again IMO

We do not deny a map for being a runner map, however people are allowed to voice their opinion, that is kinda the point of submitting the map. If the people do not like it then we do not add it. However taking one person's critiques personally isn't wise either.
