((Here we go, I don't think I'll be able to keep a hold))
Roll 1: 4
Roll 2: 6
Roll 3: 9
((Well, I managed do do it too.))

((Alright I realized I did this kinda wrong. There are some extra rules when dealing with higher numbers, such as ST, so that the chance of failure is higher and makes the contest go faster. My strength is 13, and I get a +5 bonus for grappling with both hands, so 18. After finding that and factoring that in, that's impossible to lose. So what we are going to do is lower you target number, since you are lower, to 10. That makes me lower by five as well, so my target number is 13))

((Let's try this again with our newer target numbers. Three rolls please!))

(( I rolled a 16 on my first roll, so I failed. ))

Brand slips from Sulayman's grasp! The Goliath is somewhat suprised at how slippery the stone behemoth actually is.

(( After breaking free from a Grapple, you don't have a chance to attack before I go again, but you can move one tile in any direction if you wish. So let me know where you would like to move, referencing the map on page 2. ))

((Tis' not slippery luck, tis' brute strength that saved the automaton!))
((Seeing as the Goliath is behind me after grabbing my arm in the grapple, so in a different position on the map than on page 2, I'll be moving to his old position marked by the red hexagon))

With great strength, Brand heaves out of the grapple caused by the Goliath, surprised the fleshman could catch him in such a feat. In a rush, Brand leaps to the side of his opponent to gain some time to prepare for Sulaymans next move, and perhaps, gain an advantage over him. This will not be an easy fight.

((DKnucklehead , totally understandable ^-^. Edited it to make things easier to follow. I'll be moving to the side of me/Sulayman in the new red hex.))

Sulayman, with his dreadlocks flowing in the air, is going to attempt to unleash another kick to your torso.

((I rolled a 10, which makes my kick a "hit". You will have a chance to defend against this attack though! For every successful attack against you, you can do one of three things: Block, Dodge, or Parry. Currently, you cannot Block, as Blocking requires a shield. So you have two choices of Dodging or Parrying. Dodge should be automatically calculated for you, which is 8, and I should have told you that your parry was 7 (if not, mark it down on your sheet!) With these two options, obviously Dodging is your best bet, so I'd advise you to roll against Dodge. ))

Surprised at the fleshman's speed, Brand narrowly dodges out of the way, the kick hitting air narrowly from where he stood only moments before. "Close, but he won't gain a slip up on me, not yet anyways."

Desperate for an opening, Brand takes a drastic step to catch his opponent off-guard. He lunges, taking a swipe at the Goliath with a kick to the legs.
((8+3 = 11 against my roll of 9. I don't miss so I don't have to roll to see if I fall or not if I'm not mistaken. I don't believe there are any other variables to kicking I have to worry about besides that at the moment?))

((Targeting specific parts of the body affects your target number. An attack that has no declared body part is automatically assigned to the torso area, at no penalty. The chart below provides what the penalties are for each body part:

Torso: 0
Leg: -2
Arm: -2
Vital Organs: -3
Groin: -3
Hand: -4
Foot: -4
Heart: -4
Neck: -5
Head or Face: -5
Jaw: -6
Nose: -6
Brain: -7
Shield Wearing Hand: -8
Eyes: -9 (-10 if wearing helm)

Applying the -2 penalty for attacking the leg, you still succeed as you are able to match the target score of 9!))

Sulayman attempts to dodge out of the way, but the weight of a boulder comes crashing down onto one of his legs!

((He failed his dodge roll! Roll for Damage using what you find under Damage Thr )).

((I'm not certain what Damage Thr is, as I cannot seem to find it/definition/general points to it, and the rulebook doesn't entirely explain damage rolls well enough so I'm assuming its "General Role + Strength Modifier + Weapon bonus/enchantment/etc" idea for giving damage.
I rolled a 9 + 5(from 15 strength I believe is how the modifier works) + 0 from no bonus so its 14 damage?
Again the rulebook doesn't explain it that well so I'm taking this from DnD/Gurps sites, FAQ's, etc so sorry if this is wrong. D: ))

((I'm not sure how I missed that since I've been reading over the rulebook for an explanation of damage, but thanks so much. ;A; ))
I rolled a 4+1 so my damage is 5 against whatever Sulayman's damage reduction is, if we're using that system as well.))

(( Damage Reduction is based on what armor he's wearing, and since he's wearing nothing but cloth there isn't any damage prevented. He takes the 5 damage. ))

Sulayman hobbles backwards away from you. His left leg is limping and obviously damaged. He doesn't look eager to kick you anytime soon. He reaches towards the wall and rips off a stone about the side of your head. With a grunt he lifts it above his head and quickly chucks it, and the stone flies right towards you!

(( I've given Sulayman two skills called Lifting and Throwing Art. He passed both skills, the first to lift the stone, and the second to throw it accurately as a projectile! Roll for one of your defenses!))

Brand smirks at the retreating Goliath; that last maneuver must have done some damage, the Goliath must be tiring himself, but surprised at the audacity to use the wall as a means of a weapon, clearly not the hand-to-hand brawl he was expecting. With the drastic lob of stone, Brand quickly side-steps out of its path, having it land far behind him instead of its intended target.

Once he moves, Brand charges toward his target. hoping to land a solid blow to the Goliath backed precariously against the arena's barrier. With a roar he follows his opponent, slamming a fist in hopes of landing a spot on the Goliath, but hits the same wall instead, leaving an imprint.

((I rolled an 8 for my dodge, passing the roll check. I also rolled for my turn's maneuver being an Attack and Move, I got a 12 against my 7 (11 - 4), failing the attack. Since I have the same speed as Sulayman I get to move 4 tiles so I am able to follow him luckily. ^-^))

((Surprisingly I did not see an alert for this today! Luckily I caught it in the "Whats New" tab just now. Don't want this to drag on any longer!))

That shouldn't have happened; Brand mutters to himself.
Now he was wide open as a target, perfect for the Goliath.

As the fleshman swings, Brand tries to brace himself against the Goliath's force with his forearm, but he's too slow. The blow lands squarely.

((Rolled a 13, and since that was way above both my dodge and parry, I went for a parry since it seemed to fit the roleplaying occasion better. Roll for your damage good ser!))

Brand grabs at his side.
"Tis' but a flesh wound. He cannot fight forever as I can." he thinks.

Such close quarters gives an advantage in accuracy, and Brand takes that chance.
He swings strongly, countering his opponents previous volley. As his arm flows through the air, he watches his opponents movement.

((Know how I was saying rolls are either squarely misses or just barely succeeds for some reason cause of that weird dice-range? Yeah, I rolled an 11, right on the spot for my Brawling. Roll for defense!))

Brands eyes light up.
The first time, no, he never expected the Goliath to move in such a fashion.
Again however? Foolish fleshman. Let us end this struggle once and for all.

With a swift motion, the golem grabs the Goliath's forearm before he can perform his feat (er, parry!) and throws the Goliath back from the chance of grappling him again.
Then he moves in for the attack, launching another jab at the Goliath's torso.

((Rolled a 7 to parry or dodge, then a 9 against my 11 brawling.))

With another jab coming at him, he tries to parry again. With a wild flail of his arms he knocks his opponent's arm off balance, finding it's way left. Sulayman successfully deflected the attack.

With a quick blur, Sulayman reaches into his pocket and retracts something round and made of metal. With it in his right hand, his right arm pushes and attempts to punch Brand straight in the chest.
