To start off, I never really formally/officially introduced myself to the community, so I thought this would be a good way to do that as well as say goodbye.

Hey there. Here's a little history lesson about myself and my minecraft adventure. I first started off with Minecraft (classic) a few years ago when a couple of friends introduced me to the game. I fell in love with the simplicity and company of having friends to play with. Eventually, that excitement and gameplay of the general building servers wore off for me and I began to roam around other servers. That's when I struck Blocktopia's Zombie Survival on March of 2011. At first I didn't really know what was going on, except whenever I joined the server, I was always a zombie. It wasn't really fun for me at the time being a zombie all the time, so I left and began to explore other Zombie Servers. The idea and type of gameplay a zombie server offered really intrigued me and I wanted to continue finding the right one to entertain me on my spare time. This was quite a while ago, so there weren't many zombie servers out there, so eventually I ended up back at Blocktopia's Zombie Survival a month later that same year. Little did I know that this server would steal my soul away (just kidding) up until this very day. As I stuck around for more than a few minutes, I began to learn how the mechanics of the server and game worked. I've always been a hide-and-seek/tag type of person myself, so I would look forward playing every day I got home from school. Back then, I was the typical shy guy who just continued on with his life in-game. I barely talked and all I did was play the game, unless I asked a question about something. I did take notice of their other servers, but I wasn't as hooked as I was on Zombie. This went on for quite awhile into summer of 2011. I found myself getting better at the game as I played because I definitely had no skill starting off (as would be expected anyways =P). The company from the same people I saw everyday grew on me. The people were nice and I eventually got to speaking more on the server. This community and friendship I built with everyone made the experience of being here even better for me. A lot of people caught my eye, and a specific person who knows who he or she is, became my role model. This person was really nice and did everything in such a mature manner. I admit, I wasn't the maturest person out there, and this was why the person was such a role model for me. He was the reason I wanted to try out for trusted and ended up being one of my references. From then on, it was an uphill experience for me and once I was promoted, I tried my best not to disappoint the people that believed in me. I had my ups and downs, but what I got most out of this community and time spent here, was the staffing experience. For me, it felt like a job, but not in a negative, boring, and monotonous job thing, but a cheery, fun one. And through this all, I can confidently say I became a more mature person from the advice, support, and help from everyone around me. What's more is that I actually got premium from a zombie contest held awhile back too, which was totally cool and convenient.

I am definitely sad that the classic servers are going, even though I kinda felt and saw it coming. This journey was unforgettable, but I think my time here is up for now. It was a good run while it lasted and I just want to thank everyone here for contributing their own part to it all. I'm not one to write this long a message like this to people I'm not close to, but that doesn't seem to be the case here does it? You guys are basically like family and throughout the years I can say that without hesitation. Thanks for all the laughs and fun times, even though this won't necessarily be a complete goodbye. I'm sure some of you can sorta see my time dying away anyhow as I'm going to be a senior next year and heading to college soon. I tried my best to stay as active as I could, and with the classic servers closing, that's my cue to focus more of my time on school and life work. I'll still be around the forums and maybe the other servers once in awhile, but premium just isn't my thing, and I don't mean this in any possible negative way. This community has meant a lot to me and I know it'll continue to flourish and grow =]. Keep up the good work. Flip flop over and out!

Man, it sure has been a while, hasn't it? thong, you were and awesome guy and a great staff member. I remember back when you joined I had always pictured your name as some in appropriate thing. I even mentioned it to the staff about it. xP

Anyway, it was fun reffing/staffing alongside you and I'm glad you had a role-model throughout it. I hope to see you online sometimes. We have to catch up every now and then. :)

I avoid posting on these as much as possible but....

Thong, it truly has been a pleasure knowing you. Ever since the days of CityScape, I've known you. Don't know if you would recall this far back, but we applied around the same time(well, at least my first Denied application) together. You've become a role model, with your calm personality, fair judgemental skills (Which I feel that I suit a complete opposite spectrum of, being quite unstable at times xD). Have a long and prosperious life, and hope to see you around!

Oh Omg x3 I never knew quite the best name to call you.

I can say however your positive and friendly attitude on the server always made me smile c: You are honestly one of the kindest people I've ever met and I really enjoyed being around you. I loved the talks we had too and it makes me sad I was always busy or afk when you were on as of late. I'd like to stay in touch if we could c:

Take care Omg and good luck with everything :)
