"Ergh... where... where am I?"
Fauna opened his eyes and was in a garden full of grass, hills, animals and flowers. He looked at himself in a pool and saw his reflection... except he was met with nothing. He looked down at his feet and there was nothing there either. He was invisible.
"Hee hee, come here little piggy! I wuv you!" a young boy said, chasing a piglet around. They both looked like they were having fun, several bluebirds and other small critters following the boy. An older looking boy was there too, he looked like he was in his teen-years laying on a leaf-hammock almost as if he was as light as a feather. He seemed relaxed and was watching the boy, laughing and smiling. He seemed to be able to raise the ground in the garden, making it harder for the chase to go on. The young boy with neat black hair seemed to think it was fine and was having fun.
"Hey! Watch dis guys!" another, smaller child said, a green somewhat pulsating aura-ball in his hand. With waves of his hands he seemed to create plants and flowers but something didn't feel right. The transparent Fauna and the teenager looked worried, they both probably had the same thought: A child that young shouldn't be messing with such powers.
Suddenly there was a flash of green and a scream, vines had wrapped around the tiny boy's legs and arms and practically whole torso! The vines then gradually grew thicker and then a large head appeared ontop of it, almost like a giant, spherical venus flytrap head. It looked mad, both angry and crazy. The boy who was chasing the piglet screamed and hid behind a bush but the animals did not follow, they stood there brave and proud. The teenager jumped up nearly instantly and somehow made rocks and wood fly to his hand which turned into a blade. Then something caught his eye, glittering in the sunlight.
A ring. It was on the little, tangled boy's finger but then the plant put it on and the wildlife seemed to come to life. The bush the black-haired boy was hiding behind tried to attack him but the teenager raised the ground around the boy protecting him. Suddenly he charged into battle.
The teenager's actions were graceful, flipping through the air, using the area to his advantage, hacking and slashing through the plant. Eventually he was worn out but so was the plant - they were at a stalemate. The only two people around him were too young and both practically trapped. There were a few brave faces though - the animals. The birds distracted the plant as the more hunkier animals charged at the plant. Suddenly the garden turned into a field of death and bloodshed. The plant was extremely weak, the teenager almost paralysed in shock and then one remained. The piglet. He charged into the plant's mouth and then destroyed back of it, killing the plant.
The wildlife fell to the ground, back to normal. The vines shrivelled up and the tiny boy was let free but he had fainted. The teenager regained his mind and let the other boy out of his enclosure completely forgetting the fact that the garden was littered with the bodies of critters he loved. When his eyes met with the dead piglet he screamed, screamed so very loud. Birds flew out of the trees and circled around him, lifting him up off the floor. They then carried him to a high tree where he could be alone.
Fauna was in shock. He felt weird, as if this was relevant and that he knew what was happening. Then after he recovered from his moment of stupidity he put 2 and 2 together - this was him, Flora and Nature... in the past. In another world... A nicer world. He felt so angry and wanted to kill Flora but of course that wasn't possible. Then he realised something - the ring. Silver. With an emerald encrusted into it. He had that ring. Was that Flora's ring but was meant for him when he was older? If this had the power to control wildlife then why wasn't it creating plants when he had it on. And what is the sapphire ring about? He had so many questions and then heard teenager Nature talking to the tiny Flora, about to say something about the ring until the pond suddenly engulfed Flora in water but this wasn't in the actual memory since neither of the two people saw it or took any notice. He was regaining conciousness. But he had so many questions... so many... never to be answered.
As a wave of clear water hit his face he awoke, staring at 2 people. The only thing he managed to say was "For god's sake."
